Terrible experience
The app can’t connect to my microphone , always show the error message . I totally can’t use it to practice . Terrible !

Used this app years ago, it was fun to use it but now … everything is behind a paywall, no daily free lessons , nothing . Everything needs to be payed.
It’s just terrible
At the part where you’re learning the fret it doesn’t detect it at all I even correctly tune it five times to make sure and it still doesn’t correctly. I keep re-watching the videos all over the time and when I hold the first one. It detects it as number two and three but not one and it’s the same as the others and if I do the bottom ones, it detects it like normal like it’s so bad at detecting it
Stealing
Customer service is trash. Won't fix my account after if contacted customer service multiple times for several weeks . I didn't even want my money back, just to access what I paid for. Save your money and take real lessons or YouTube!
Not Ideal
I came here to learn songs that I wanna play on my acoustic but come to find out literally all the songs I wanna learn to play are not on here was really looking forward to this app not worth the hype. But I will say tho if your wanting to learn how to play guitar it is a good app.

I had to turn the speed of the song to the lowest setting just to play one note and it doesn’t even read the notes that I am playing. the songs go too fast I just started I am not a professional guitar player…
DO NOT GET THIS!!
i got the free trial, and i cancelled the free trial subscription 2 days before it ended. then even when i cancelled the subscription it STILL charges me $148.39 which it kept charging me for abt a month. then i went to the website to make sure my subscription was cancelled which it was. then i went as far to delete the account. Even after the account was deleted it STILL continues to this day to charge my card the same $148.39 and i tried to get help and support involved but they still havent responded to me after 2 weeks. DO NOT GET THIS!
Can’t play anything without paying
You can only play a handful of songs without premium, and that premium is so ridiculously overpriced for a guitar app. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. They also have no actual note reading exercises, it just shows a bar on your guitar string. For beginners this won’t help at all. Yes it ca help increase some knowledge on guitar and bass tabs, but in the long run it won’t help as much as you think. Wayyyyy overrated app.

Please tell me why when I play any string when it tells me to they can’t hear a single thing during runaway train ,I had to pluck my strings to make it hear it and it was like they are deaf so I plucked it harder and they didn’t hear a single thing during the lesson, this app isn’t working well,I recommend to get a guitar teacher instead of a guitar app
Bad in costumer service
If you wanna use this app, i dknt recommend it because theyre bad in helping, especially when you need a refund.
Would not recommend
I am brand new to guitar and was looking forward to learning to play for the first time. I did not know what I was doing and the tuner kept telling me to tune up until I snapped G off my guitar. I will never learn to play guitar because I am not getting another string.

Did the 7 day free trial and saw it charged 11.99 for next fee I was okay with that now it’s charging me 150 even tho I canceled it I see many ppl complaining about it that’s wrong I’m deleting the app none of you don’t use the subscription for free that’s just wrong
Bass players don’t bother
Yousician will have an extensive library for guitar, but bass players will have less songs available. The company knows you’re paying the same amount of money and will not care. It’s openly discussed in the social media group, that the company itself invites users to give feedback. No amount of emails you send will matter, the company will just thank you for the ‘feedback’. They will keep providing a lesser customer service experience while ripping you off. I will never forgive them for adding my favorite band only for guitar when I’ve been using the app for 137 weeks.
Hopes
This app really got my hopes up and disappointed me. I have never played guitar before so I thought this app looked nice to learn it then just as you get the feel of the app they come out and say hey we want 150$ a year or u can’t use this app anymore. I hate the people how thought that was a good idea to piss people off.

i love this app but after installing latest ios update it doesn’t work anymore. gives me option to clear cache but it doesn’t work. haven’t been able to use it past couple days
TOOK MY MONEY
They randomly charged my card for their “premium service” which is $150. Do not download this app. There is no way to see this “subscription” and it’s also not in my purchase history. Bad business practice and a horrible thing to do to people.
Can’t cancel subscription
Got this app a while ago, and due to different reasons, I ended up deleting the app. Unfortunately, I forgot I had a subscription for it when I did. And now, I can’t cancel the subscription from the Apple settings, and if I redownload the app and sign into my account, the app says I don’t even have a subscription in the first place. Yet it still keeps charging me for one.
This app was fun and I can’t not play my guitar because of guitar broke stay away

It said I was tuned, but it didn’t work
Worst app I hate this app and worst of all it said I was tuned, but whenever I jumped into the lesson, it just couldn’t hear my thing even though I had my microphone on and it kept on saying I was strumming different strings even though I was doing the right ones the only reason I’m keeping this app is to tune my guitar and then I’m going to delete it and note to creator, please fix this thank you very much.
Terrible app
The start is good but when you start playing different cords it can’t tell the difference so it’s impossible to play the song.

App Doesn’t Recognize Tones
As I progress through each portion of a song in a lesson, sometimes the app will not recognize when I am plucking a string. It may recognize the string in one portion of the lesson, but not other portions of the lesson. It’s very aggravating and it’s impossible to get three stars on some lessons because of errors with the app.
Worst app ever
So I'm trying to learn electric guitar and whenever I play the strings it says I'm hitting the wrong one even though I'm hitting the right one do not recommend this. App for electric guitars idk about everything else
Does not work
Don’t even try to play the more advanced smoke on the water. Every time you play the 3rd fret low e, it just doesn’t pick up, even if you eve the built in tuner (doesn’t work) there’s a reason this is free. Oh wait, IT ISNT

so I was using the tuner for string I have electric guitar it kept telling me it was way too low and I knew that it already sounded pretty high but I kept twisting and eventually my string broke because of this stupid app
