Money already inside and converted often gets trapped when the debit card fails. Overseas and card is rejected by merchants because YouTrip side has malfunctions. Too often failures without any monetary compensation from YouTrip. After searching high and low for a hotline number, spoke for over an hour for a solution. Waited 3 days and again got an email asking for the same information. What did I spend that hour on the phone for?
lag upon opening the app
the app keeps lagging whenever i open the app, which results in me having to reinstall the app every so often. please fix this.
Account is tied to mobile number
Make sure you don’t deregister your mobile number because then you won’t be able to log in to youtrip. There’s seemingly no other way (email????) to log in and the crappy app will keep saying that your email is already registered.
Worst customer support ever
Don’t ever use YouTrip if you are expecting customer support in the event of a transaction dispute. I sent my query 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear back from them. Not even an email, nothing. There are better cards around. Don’t bother with YouTrip.
Unnecessarily requests microphone permission
App requires microphone permission to take a verification photo of my NRIC? Ridiculous

It should be clear that this app only works for Singapore residents - then I wouldn’t have bothered to download it.
Missing wallet transactions
I have had many debit and exchange transactions missing in the “Activity” list in the app. My balance doesn’t match with my transaction activities.
Emailed YouTrip support a number of times with no response whatsoever. This is unacceptable.

App not loading now
No idea what happened but the app refuses to load properly. Reliability issues. Good thing I’m not travelling at the moment. Needs more work.
Horrible customer service.
Whenever an email is sent to their customer service, they will take more than 2 weeks to reply. This is unacceptable for an organisation that deals with people’s money. Hope they would work on that before even thinking of expanding to other countries. Even having a call centre to provide instant assistance to their users.
