You tube tv has become new age cable. Too expensive at nearly $100 a month with more commercials than shows. You can back out of a show and then go back in and have to rewatch 3 min of the same commercial over and over again. Not even close to worth the price. I cancelled.

I’ve had it set to record everything NBA for 10 years and of course it did not record All-Star Saturday night. Even though I sent the message every year once again they do this to the sports fan I can’t believe how awful they could be.
It cuts off the end of the program ALL the time, like the pregame or postgame shows. I’ve been telling them for years and they never fix anything. Edit: 6 months later the NBA draft, the dumb app STILL doesn’t have that set to record either. Bunch of dopes running this app

Beware people traveling
Main reason was to get this and watch the WC while in Mexico (yes I know should’ve checked) but yea save your $60 only works if in the US. I feel scammed

Terrible app
I started a free trial to see if I wanted to spend over $60 a month and I immediately knew it wouldn’t be worth it. You have to watch 7 ads every 7 minutes it feels like, which is ridiculous considering how expensive it is. My free trial let me watch 6 episodes before it blocked everything else. What kind of sad excuse of a trial is that? You want people to spend their money on this app? At least give us something that makes it worth it. Horrible.

Terrible first impression
I was in the middle of watching a new episode just for it to cut me off in the middle of it, not during an ad but in the middle of the damn episode requesting me to “sign in” and that’s what I do. I come back and it’s still pausing my episode and requesting me to sign in. Until I realized that the app it self was broken and that I had to go to the website in order to finish watching the episode was already over. Immediately canceling my subscription!

Live tv seems to cut out visually and audibly pretty consistently. I wouldn’t get if you want to watch live events. I already have cancelled my subscription

They’ll take your opportunity to watch the finals games and put on the local news you could watch on another channel. Bad winds are more important than me watching the finals games. Spending how much a month and can’t decide what I want to watch apparently.

Poor quality for price paid
Recently switched back to YouTube TV and noticed more glitches than ever before. Constantly waiting for things to load, random channels will glitch, quality is not the same as it used to be to be for the price paid.
A maze of streaming adders requires a PhD to use.
Having a PhD means nothing to the maze of cost gotchas, login confusion and purchases. Nothing bought on the Apple Platform. Must use Google and their complex user account garbage. Good luck cancelling. Good luck using your credit card.

Forced adds before opening
If I’m paying for youtube tv why donI need to go through 5 minutes of adds from the app before even opening the channels. This is ridiculous.

The app doesn’t work on my basement tv it’s freezes on words and constantly repeats the word it’s also reading loading. I call for support and she was very unhelpful nothing was resolved.

This was a forced alternative with Frontier/Verizon. The individuals who developed this have no understanding of content, or how to provide content. There is lack of understanding of how to deliver entertainment./television. You get plenty of choices. I am using a fire stick and 1 gb internet. Switching channels and it just spins and spins or goes black screen. Way too many commercials, and some want to be sent to your phone. You are literally paying to watch commercials. They should pay you to watch. Record a show and it cuts off the end. The picture and sound quality are fair. If you watch on a phone it is fair, nothing worth the price and nothing spectacular. The application is visually glossy. There is potential for the application, with the right programmers of the application. Try it for about a month and you will go to rabbit ears to watch television, or cable television. This application is nothing special for the price; and as I said, they should be paying you to watch all the commercials.

Hey YouTube Tv I got a question for you I canceled my service and you still are charging me for MGM+. I emailed and emailed several times with no response about this issue with no response. How do I watch MGM+ if I don’t have YouTube TV service? Don’t you think that if the main service is cancelled that customers can’t access the premium channels or is the 7.99 sense so important to your bottom line
Buggy and Never Improves with Updates
Resume from last Watch rarely works. Yes, I try to watch from the Home Screen rather than the live screen. Sometimes it just takes you live ruining the game you had to pause. This issue is also on their Apple TV app, which is awful and has terrible picture quality.
Update: I still have all issues above plus it randomly stops fast forwarding or rewinding when double tapping either the left or right of the screen. It just gets stuck. When I manually fast forward, then double tap to fast forward, it rewinds. If I force close the app, it says I already watched the entire program and have to start from the beginning. It’s an annoying app.
