It’s 5/7/26 for me at the moment of writing this,Pretty cool game..other than that this game app made my iPhone 12 Pro Max get internal damage and is not working even after hard resets. funny things is just got a new iPhone 13 and it froze on me too and I don’t mean the game froze as soon as I tried to get in my phone the touchpad won’t work it’s the only game in my phone at the moment it’s strange be careful and be aware this can happen to you! Don trust these apps!

Trash game based on “luck”
Going first format coin toss is “50/50” but guaranteed you win 20-30% Leaving you massively at a disadvantage. Probably the worst game to be invested in. Dont even waste your money with the high prices for little regards. They know how to make a bad game and They only care for money so probably shouldn’t spend. If only they cared to fix the problems

I have cards in my deck i have yet to even see because of how terrible their gameplay is. Dont waste your time with this awful game.

Please revert the in game fonts to those in version 2.6!
These new in game fonts for version 2.7 look cheap, clumsy and were hastily added into the game, even causing some visual bugs. The old fonts were sleek, especially for LP numbers, please consider restoring them.

Ok I’m a OG player. Got this because I thought it would be fun to relive my youth YuGi days.. but once I figured this game out..and got into a duel.. the opponent took 10 minutes worth of special tributes and all..when it was my turn my opponent had 4 beast plus 1 in the middle.. all could wipe out in one move.. this game has sooo much potential.. but make it more difficult to pull these wild 10 move card special summons… that special abilities within the summoned.. OG Yugioh is not this.

Super Lag After Update
Recently started playing about 3 weeks ago and the game was fine. There was some update that no one asked for a few days ago and now it crashes or is incredibly slow.
Too Many Combos
Why am I waiting 300 seconds between turns for my opponent to play 500 different cards? I just downloaded the game and am learning to play when these players have 8000 LP combos in one turn against a rookie. Should have limits to the amount of cards you can play per turn. Thanks for the pay to play experience.
Best Yugioh game ever
I honestly love this game, I enjoy being able to play my favorite cards and duel will real people. However, it is a pain to get the cards I really like, so in my opinion if the cards were either cheaper or easier to get I would literally never stop playing this game. This game is amazing and I love it. Good job!

Once you start winning the other ppl quit or stall. Stupid ppl ruined yugioh. Both in this game and real life.
Horrible Game
First and second turns opponents are already special summoning, fusion, same rinse and repeat. Had to delete the game cause it’s not fun.
It’s a gotcha game but somehow worse.
Game is slow and has lots of loading screens. Gameplay is just like the IRL card game but obtaining cards is worse. Pull rates suck, so building a deck from packs takes forever. You can craft the cards you need but obtaining materials and gems takes forever, and dismantling cards gives you only a third of what it costs to craft. Ranked play rewards are also lame, and the duel pass rewards are also terribly slow to collect enough to build or buy more cards and packs.
Just don’t play it. Save yourself time and effort. And don’t use real money on this.

Terrible connection
Half the game on mobile loses connection

The constant changes and now nulled cards, always having to rebuild decks much like having to rebuild outside of gaming..I don’t have a lot of time on this planet and we continue to make everything difficult for everyone. Congratulations you’re now apart of the problem. Uninstalled.

Game is currently on an unhealthy state
Would not recommend to play at the moment, as the title says, the game is in a very unhealthy state. It needs an extensive banlist in order to bring balance, as there’s pretty much a 3 deck meta. There are decks that are able to put up a fight, but require lots of knowledge of nuances and a competent pilot. There’s also an issue with random disconnects which net you a loss, as well as the shuffler being against you, giving you constant unplayable hands the majority of your matches, while benefiting your opponent, as they would end up with practically exactly what they need to not only be able to stop your only play, but also extend through your only responses, making the match wasted time for you. At the same time, via the tips/hints, you get told to quote “Get stronger cards in the shop and elsewhere” clearly intended to pray on your frustration by giving you a false impression that if you spend real money on the latest pack on the shop, you’ll either win more or improve your chances of winning, which is an example of nuance, as while being true that new cards could raise the power level of your strategy, winning relies more on your skills, new cards don’t correlate to more wins without the skills and knowledge. You also have a high likelihood of getting paired against stun heavy/ trap heavy decks, which can just ruin your experience, as there’s pretty much nothing you can do. After this DC Cup, I’ll probably take a very extensive break, until the game is on a more balanced state, with a proper banlist that actually addresses the problems in the game, not just consistency hits which accomplishes nothing more than trying to sell the next pack. Seems like profit is the priority over actually listening to the community. Yes, a company needs to keep profits in mind, but it should go in hand with listening to the community, as they are the ones that speak with their wallets and keep your company afloat. The investors play a role in decisions but the players are the ones who actually play the game and invest time playing and money to build their preferred deck or strategy.
Until an actual banlist or balancing occurs, I wouldn’t recommend new players to engage with the game, as you will only end up greatly frustrated and pull away from the game. And when it’s actually balanced, it is a fun game, but right now, if profits over the community that actually spends on the product, the game would get even more unbalanced as more unfair decks are introduced.
Personally, I will not engage with the game after the DC Cup, and actual big changes occur, I will just support my favorite players and creators.

Hand traps are disrespectful ban them
I can’t get through one duel without someone using hand traps they are a blight on the game back in the day people would use trap cards and quick play spells for counters not the cowardly hand traps and not let someone play the game and get the full immersion of them game people would take hits like champs but now people who suck at the game are trolling people and not letting them play

I’ve given up on yugioh master duel
The game has gotten o a point where it is no longer fun to play you either play the meta or lose there is no creativity in it anymore I have to run 12 hand traps and everyone always seems to have an out for everything or there is no way out .. there’s never a back and forth like it used to be the game has gotten way carried away with the state it’s in now it need new rules like card play limits and reduced time most of my time is waiting on the other play to make a 30 card move just for me not to be able to to anything..until changes are made I am done being a duelist I’ve spent 25 years of my life watching and playing the game has made me so angry and disappointed I’m not longer having fun changes need to be made your welcome for all the money by the way just for me to walk away saddened and annoyed with what the game has become
Buggy app
Game becomes constantly unresponsive during play actually lost a match due to this fix your game and remove that stupid white bar every time I accidentally touch it turns off my controls and connection is terrible. I do not have this problem on my computer or console. Fix this app.
No fun for new players
Yeah, that new players go against people that already been playing a game for a certain amount of time making it harder for us to win matches because y’all don’t appear us with people that’s on the same level
Trash game
Most modern yugioh is OTK one turn kill. Its beyond evident its pay to win and no new player could possibly ever enjoy losing 20 times in a row and only winning when a bot times out after trying 50 summons in one turn or quits out of common decency after seeing me watch 50 summons in one turn and only being about to play 1 monster. The rules are ridiculous in this game. Magic the Gathering Arena is superior in nearly all accounts, including the otk rate.
Honest Review
Love this game since I was a kid, but you guys have killed this game for non-tournament players. Who ever goes first has a bunch of hand traps already laid out and the person going second has to beat those hand traps with 6 cards. Unbelievable! Literally whoever goes first wins. Make different duel rooms for ranked matches based on skill level or make different duel rooms for each generation of cards. Link duel room, XYZ duel room, fusion duel room, etc. Not fun to play unless you’re using the same 20 hand traps that everyone else is playing with!

This game has lost all player count and yet somehow in its current state the player that goes first wins 90% of the time basically if you don’t win a coin toss you must Disconnect to Actually play. These developers deserve a beating for how this game turned out. Everything about the game was amazing until the Appollusa Update then this game fell apart at the Seems. Appollusa helped players deal with someone that keeps hogging a turn now it’s weird I don’t even want to play anymore in real life this game is really depressing hopefully they do a lot of patches but right now the Tier 1 decks are yummy, Fiendsmith, and Vanquish Soul and they CONSTANTLY GO FIRST AND NOBODY IS TRYING TO STOP THEM. These developers don’t know what balance is….. THIS GAME IS A MAJOR LOSS.

Not a fun game. Does not encourage diverse gameplay, 95% of the card pool is irrelevant. They are unashamedly catering to win-focused individuals by creating broken, rule flouting decks that cost the maximum amount of in game currency.
If you play anything other than the latest cards, you are merely a punch bag for the whales and the uncreative; Konami is selling off your experience so that these people can enjoy a false sense of superiority over you.
Don’t bother trying to put together classic decks either, as their key cards are earmarked for premium cost even though functionally they have zero competitive relevance. Fun.
The servers are terrible and turn times are too long.

Lost my account
I got a new phone and when I downloaded the game I didn’t get my account back and made me a new account. I lost all my deck. I tried to link the account and still nothing. I spent money on game and lost my decks.

This game is wack you play people with way better cards and every turn is long you have cheaters and mods that they use always and by the time you do anything the game is over with I would not waste my time ever again on this I use to be a big yugioh fan but this game is the worst

Need to improve syncing across devices. I already lost one account and I’m not able to put my new one in another devices. Really annoyed with that problem. Love the game but I feel that all the work I put into this game will be lost with my device.

I’ve played this game since release. After many reviews they try to tell penalize my free speech by ruining my experience! I will remain honest regardless and just support the platform less! This is not a fun game!!!! They make it impossible to win if you speak out instead of bettering the player experience… after 4 years you’d think they’d learn but they don’t care!!! That’s why the players you duel are mostly bots! Everyone is sick of Konami’s bs! Just don’t play the game and force them to yield to integrity!!! PLEASE!!!!

Sweats ruin the events
Events with limited-time restrictions used to be gem mines, but now they are torture chamber to grind for titles. First, restrictions are too generous. They used to be links only, xyzs only or such, but now they are links + xyzs + fusions and such nonsenses, and have become breeding grounds for sweats with optimized semi-meta decks and 3rd party websites like master duel meta accelerate this tragedy. Insult to injury is new “flaunt your titles in loading screen” system, now sweats don’t grind for just gems and move out to ranked, now they grind for days for these titles. Events are supposed to be rest spot for casuals who are tired of ranks, but now they are more stressful than ranks. I’m pretty sure this will kill Master Duel unless direct actions are taken, like alternate-alternate play-mode like anime duel mode or just outright banning every meta-adjacent things in every events going forward. Also there need to be 3rd report-opponent option: dragging out already finished game(usually to finish event quests). This really makes already disastrous experience into true full-fledged torture chamber, because you get to watch your opponent dragging out already decided game by comboing into oblivion as you hopelessly wish game to end to get tiny little bits of gems out of it.
If I can’t enjoy it I’m going to delete it.
Why do I consistently get bad hands? It’s not bad deck building, no I get rid of the fat and still get bad hands. So, if I can’t play the deck I want to play because you are rewarding people for paying actual money into your game to play the newest meta and making those who don’t play the meta get bad hands constantly then you can consider this game deleted. If I can’t enjoy the game it is dead to me.
Not worth time
The play is terrible. Training is worthless and you don’t learn anything. How are you supposed to learn Special Summoning when you can’t survive the game long enough? The tutorial opponents should not overwhelm you so badly. Try to make a more balanced game next time

PLEASE READ. These reviews are fake. No way people enjoy getting negated and slaughtered by “duelists” using “get anything you want on the first turn” structure decks that Konami made and Master Duel decided to GIVE them. No such thing as Heart of the Cards anymore. 1% of players actually explore the cards and build decks. You’re forced to constantly duel Dark Fagician, Blue Eyes White Fagon, or some other overused, overpowered deck in any mode because everyone uses the same stuff and there’s no filter options. It would be nice if I could “declare a card name” and not duel it. Card effects have been changed, lots of original fun cards have been Forbidden, and Raigeki is now allowed three copies! I run 40 cards and constantly get what I don’t need such as duplicates, die rolls constantly give me worst results, coin flips are lost 8/10 times. Did I forget to mention the bugs that make you unable to activate cards sometimes? Yeah, duel with unpopular cards and you might not ever get to actually use them. This game is rigged and lame now.

90% of the game is meta trash and theres nothing being done to combat it. They just add more cards they fuel the meta and maybe semi limit one singular card which doesn’t influence the meta. Then proceeds to nerf the ever living daylight out of six different decks that aren’t even meta let alone powerful and call it a day. I can’t even play my fun decks that use older cards because the only way to earn challenges is through ranked. Oh and ranked? Yea can’t have fun there cause theres people who haven’t played in a year and set back from diamond to beginner so now you have to play against THAT in lower ranks which is totally fun. Can’t even do challenges for that reason. And the amount of cheaters/bots that just aren’t ever banned!
