I feel like this app has gone completely down hill and the downfall needs to be studied.
Someone reported that I didn’t look my age so Yubo locked my account and told me I had to verify my age to get my account back. Then I have to keep at least one photo of myself to keep it unlocked. The amount of people who have ZERO photos of themselves on the app is crazy. This should be a mandatory thing if you set your age above 18. Not just for when someone gets a suspicious report.
I was told on live with a group of people that there was a 17 year old and reported it because of if I have to verify my age so should he. Yubo said they didn’t see anything wrong with what he said but his profile wasn’t verified and was set at an older age.
People will have guns and drugs in their profiles or even shake their backs but me putting a bikini pic not showing anything like a chest or behind it was just a mirror pic, they take it down.
Yubo is very selective with how they react to things.
Don’t get me started with the blasts. People send so many pointless blasts it’s honestly embarrassing. And then when you open the message, you automatically become friends with them. That’s really annoying because I have to unfriend or block so many people. It should ask you when you open it if you’d like to be friends. Especially when the other person says disgusting stuff, Yubo just allows it. I’m glad I figured out how to turn it off but that’s only because my swipe is turned off. Such a strange app.

Horrid mistake
I may be wrong, but it appears they’ve removed the ability to search for Pepe with the same tags as you. That was their whole identity! It was the only thing that made Yubo different and I met many friends through that feature, now it’s gone, Yubo Janus tinder with a longer interests section. I don’t need two versions of tinder….

The only thing this is good for is to go live. Other than that it costs to do everything.

Free to use, that’s blocked by a subscription in order to see who messaged you and and the only way to see them or be able to message them if, They offer optional upgrades for profile and messages visibility, reach or control and what sucks more is they rose check subscription prices.

this app literally is not it. last year you never had to pay for anything much bc u could watch ads for coins but now u have to pay for EVERYTHING. i thought i could be on here to meet new people around me but unfortunately this app is just way too much and way too expensive. seems like its js a money grab app imo
Bug/mistake
I got banned for the app because it wanted me to verify my age but I didn’t have any verification cause I was 13 so then I waited till I was 16 and have my licenses and now that I’ve redownloaded the app it’s saying Error you cannot access this resource when I try to log in. But when it did work it was fun while it lasted.
It was nice before I verification age requirement
I get it’s a safety thing especially with the younger teens on it, but pls normalize that you can be 17 and not have a drivers license yet, school id doesn’t have a birth date on it and ofc don’t have a regular state ID yet. It sucks that I can’t use it now, it would be nice if you could add something to do age recognition by a picture.
