Overreacts
It will rate ingredients over the actual ingredient and not the amount in the product. The amount of sodium benzoate in a poppi is not concerning. It will not mess with your reproductive health or your heart. Sodium benzoate will hurt you if you are taking it in a large amount. this is just an example, but it does this all the time.
Who runs this biased app
This app is not what I thought it would be. The recommendations are trash. Like are they running AI or what?
Have to be a member to search
Seriously? I have to be a member in order to search products. What if I look at something online before buying it to see if it’s good? Nor do I want to be scanning a bunch of stuff while in the grocery aisle.
Does not work
Does not scan and when it does it’s the wrong product!
Faulty Ratings
It seems like companies can pay for better ratings. There are so many ingredients on here that are not clean/safe and are posing as “good” on the app. Even a simple google search can show the difference.
Horrible!!
Honestly disappointed. I thought this app was good at first. But I downloaded a different app and it made more sense than this one. This one didn’t even rate syrup?? How could I trust something like that? And it gave me recommendations on this one CeraVe bottle, saying it was 90/100, and I broke out everywhere!? And the other app I had actually made sense and said it was 10/100 which is terrible they don’t give truthful answers. You shouldn’t download an app that doesn’t even give accurate answers.
Scam
This app is literally a huge scam and lie. It tells you that healthy snacks made from all natural ingredients are bad for you. Saying baking soda is horrible additive. I’m sorry but baking soda kills cancer cells. So if you’re an app that knows what’s clean and natural organic you’d never state that baking soda is harmful to the body. Then when you also say that a brand that’s “clean” and you state some items are harmful and some are good is a huge red flag in my eyes.
The scoring method seems random and bias.
This apps scoring method honestly doesn’t make any sense on some items. IE. One bag of chips is classified as “poor” and another bag of chips that has more calories/sodium/sugar/additives is classified as “good”. Seems to add to fear mongering amongst users and makes me wonder if they are actually being impartial as they claim to be.
