I have the app on my 7th generation iPod touch with iOS 15.8.5. Just updated to version 5.1.9. The app crashes immediately on startup.
Customer service nonexistent and was forced to pay $250+
I signed up for a one week trial. Used it ONE time and noticed how glitchy it was. Tried to go in the app to cancel and the page will not load. Reached out to customer service 3X now and only received one response “cancel through apple”. Well it’s too late because they waited until AFTER I was charged to tell me. And now apple refuses to refund me because it appears like a legit purchase. STILL cannot access app properly as it glitches out NON STOP. What a scam. Going to my credit card company now to fight this.

Won’t open on iPad
I love zacks and as a retail trader I use the app every day, but it won’t open on my iPad at all. I’ve turned the iPad off and on multiple times. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times.
Something it’s wrong with signing up

Useless app
I subscribe to Zack’s desktop service, mainly for ranking mutual funds, which you cannot find on this mobile app. Thus, this mobile service is not only useless but utterly inexistent. Be smart, Zack’s team; have a mobile app that rises up to the level of your rankings and recommendations.
Open and close
I have deleted and downloaded the app multiple times. It opens and immediately closes. I called customer support and they told me to open and change the settings. But it won’t open. I’m calling again today. I prefer to use the app over my laptop. Sad news when a long established company that depends on technology to have such poor service.
Zacks is great, the app? Won’t start
Crashes on launch. Rebooted phone, still crashes. Deleted app and reinstalled, still crashes. Guess I’ll just use the web browser then. That’s too bad, was going to use in-app purchases / subscriptions.

I updated this buggy app and now it crashes when I open it. My iOS is a version it shows as compatible.

This app is horrendous barely worked before the update now it won’t even open up. P.S. The website doesn’t work much better lol it won’t even let me pay them money to get any of the premium stuff, tons of glitches🗑🗑🗑

Shady and difficult to use
The service is quite difficult to access from my experience. They seem to try lure the user into FREE trial periods and subscriptions while forcing a complex login experience which would likely give them a chance at running your card for many auto renewals and a long time before you even notice.

Freezes
I would love to use this app, I want to like it, but every time I open it and click on something it just spools and spools. I have made sure my iPhone is on the latest software, the app is up to date and it still doesn’t work.
Security
Security breach resulting in my email and password being exposed has resulted in identity fraud. Do not use this unless you are ok with your information being stolen. Use legit resources that have proper security to keep your information safe.
App need so much improvement
This app need some serious development. Some of the basic functions are not even available, for example the back button, if you click on something you won't be able to go back to last page you were on. No auto populate stock ticker symbol when you type out the name, you HAVE to know the ticker symbol or it won't populate at all. Also, not a lot of info provided for the company, basically just the ranking. This is way below seeking alpha app, however, this review is just base on the app functionality, not the way this company pick their stocks. I'm still new to zacks investment, so still in the testing the water phase but the app is poorly made, I know that for sure.

Got a Alert that my account had a breach from Zacks! Not at all happy about this. Deleting my account!
Can’t even push the login button
You want me to spend money on your service, but not off to a great start considering I can’t even login.

Tapping the return key or the login button does nothing, not even an error message. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it: nothing. I can log into the website just fine.

Most likely due to the way Zacks tries to consistently sell more products this app is extremely difficult to navigate. Typical of a company more interested in selling than actual client results

Why no landscape mode in 2022?!?
I can’t even begin to give an accurate rating to this app because, while I’m sure it’s useful, I can’t begin to use it. “Why,” you might ask, “can’t you begin to use this app?” Because, dear reader, it’s 2022. I use my iPad almost exclusively in landscape mode, but this app stubbornly refuses to go to landscape mode. Since I refuse to be forced to take my iPad off the magic keyboard case to use an app and I am opposed on principle to letting my head sag to the left by 90 degrees like an idiot, I must refuse to use this app.
Hopefully they fix this egregious oversight soon. And if/when they do, I will gladly revise my rating. But as it stands, it’s a one-star, completely unusable app on iPad.

The image should be a pinwheel of death
It’s difficult to tell you how accurate their information is because every time I use the app I just get the pin wheel of death after looking up a stock symbol. Their web dashboard is much more useful, so I wish this measured up but it just doesn’t.

Better to use website
The app just doesn’t go through and I need to go the website to view information. Have waited for this to get fixed, but hasn’t yet.

I am a Zack’s client and subscribe to most of its services. They are usually accurate, informative and well written. Zack’s is a Five Star Company

In fairness, I live where internet service is not always good, but similar apps, such as Yahoo Finance, simply Wall Street. Tip Ranks and several brokerage apps and charting apps all manage to deliver with the same internet.
The problems are, in no particular order,
1, Slow. If you change sections of the program, you spend several minutes watching the clock icon. If you try to get information on a stock, that can take so long as to make the app unusable.
2.Unstable. I subscribe to all their services, but I frequently get a notice that I must subscribe in order to see a section.
If I log into Zack’s website, I never have these problems. It is reliable and faster than my internet service. Thus, the problems are with this app.
As an additional observation, Zack’s has a screening program that blows everything else I’ve tried completely out of the water. It is a paid service, and has a learning curve, but worth every second and dollar spent. Having access to it with perhaps another, more functional app would be an industry leading attraction.
IN SUMMARY: If you are a Zack’s subscriber, forget this app and use the website.

iPad Landscape View
Zacks’ app for iPad can use an update that includes Landscape view…. This type of improvement would express a true professional approach.
After selecting a stock, info won’t load
I will out in a stock and then it goes to the data screen and shows the score for the stock with a spinning icon on it. Freezes the whole page. This started happening maybe a week ago. Any ideas?
Not able to search individual stocks
I'm not able to search individual stocks anymore which was the whole point I even used this app...did this change to a premium feature I'm confused??? The only stocks I'm able to analyze or whichever ones are on the homescreen..
Seldom loads or works
Zacks is a great research tool but I am not sure if they abandoned the app as it seldom loads, takes forever to load when it works, can’t add stocks to portfolio, pretty much any form of interacting with the app (if or when it works) is so slow or just fails to work that it makes it a total waste of time. Best to use the website as the app really just seems beta at best and you waste more time trying to get it to work than is worth it. If they are still monitoring the app here is details on what I am using: iPhone 14 pro, IOS 16.5

Some of the features are nice but most of them do not update easily and it tends to crash or lock up. Portfolio function especially bad
