Not Zen
No longer “zen” with the overstimulating cartoon pig adventure and the million “events” and pop-ups you have to get through to actually play the tile game.
If you are going to change that much, just make a new game.
I used to play this game for hours on end. The main reason i got it in the first place was for the fun room customization. It is where the personality of this game derived from. The match 3 has always been fun, but the rooms were the entire priority of doing well in matches. Now, you just destroy random objects and move through a boring map. It took away half of what made this game so unique and fun compared to other match 3 games. Why try and fix something that isn’t broken? In doing so, the game is ruined. This is such a major overhaul, this would’ve been more successful as its own game separate from Zen Match. Overall disappointing. Will be deleting the game.
Ya no es relajante!!!
Antes me gustaba la musiquita porque cuando jugaba me relajaba, ahora ya no me gusta como suena y tampoco la personita que le añadieron. Pero el juego la neta si me late por eso no lo desinstalo. Cada vez que lo actualizan ponen un montón de cosas en la pantalla, ya no relaja es estresante tanto anuncio.
Popups make game unplayable
I understand you want people to see what events are going on in the game but the fact that I have to click out of 20 ads before I can play is ridiculous and I end up closing the app before I get to play more times than not. You are ruining your app and providing copied and pasted garbage responses to consumer complaints.
Advertisement
The whatsnot advertising makes my phone glitch and freeze. That is definitely alarming, for an app advertisement to make my screen go black and I’m unable to do anything.

They took away wireless playing, that’s fine. They took away the room decorating, annoying, but sure. But for heavens sake there’s ads after every level!! It’s beyond annoying, and I can promise you there’s nothing Zen about ads every 5 minutes. If you’re thinking of getting this app, don’t bother, it’s like any other game in the App Store; littered with ads.
Older version was so much better
I’ve had this app for years. About 1-2 years ago I think it had a change in ownership or something because the daily challenges became extremely repetitive and easy & the regular game isn’t what it used to be. I wish they would go back to the original game.

Don’t like the changes
I used to love this game… I loved to gather the points to color the room… Completing the room, opening a new room… They got rid of it and replace it with this stupid “ wild islands“… pointless, empty…goes nowhere… I am deleting this app, because that was the whole fun of it!… Coloring the rooms! Bye zen match!
Bring Back Room Settings !
I've been playing this game for years and I always thought the decorating room feature was fun. I stopped playing for a bit a few months ago and I opened the app to find they were replaced with a path following pig. I thought the room feature was unique compared to other similar games, but now this game is just like every other game of it's kind with no stand out features. If they would like to keep the path level following feature, that's fine but PLEASE bring back the room decorating feature. It's one of the main reasons I play this game over other puzzle games.
I probably won't come back to this game until they bring back the room feature. This game feels more targeted towards little kids now versus people of any age like it used to be.

Too many pop-ups and a totally different game now
Everytime I go on the app to play, I get bombarded with pop-ups about new features they added or purchases I can make. It’s obnoxious and frustrating. They also completely took away the room decorating aspect of the game, which was my favorite part. I found this game much more relaxing and enjoyable when it was simpler, but unfortunately it has been ruined by all these stupid new features. I enjoyed just playing the tile puzzle and decorating the rooms. I have deleted the game and won’t be playing any longer.
LONG Ads all of a sudden!
I have been playing this game for years and now I’m about to delete because of the long ads after every single game! What a bummer!

I have been playing this game for a long time now. I really enjoy this game… as of recently, there has been some tweaks that have been bothering me… I could start a level with 5 lives, I can loose the level and it will take 1 life, this is usual…what’s not usual is that if I loose the same level twice, it takes all 5 of my lives when I should have 3 lives left… I m not writing this review out of impulse. I have tried it a few times and I would test it and it does take all of my lives when I have not used all my lives!!
Way too many ads
Used to be ad free but now ads pop up after every game. Way too frequent, ruined the game for me
Bring Back Rooms
I love this game, I'm on level 723 and I play it non stop. However this update is disappointing. You could have at least put an option to continue on the interior room path and this weird potion thing. I'm not saying it's a bad idea to add this update, but it is disappointing to see all the work I've gone through to make these rooms and now they're gone. After never feeling the need to write a review I'm disappointed it had to be you guys.
pop ups
the game used to be relaxing and it’s still a bit fun but can take a full minute in between some levels from the amount of “achievement” pop ups, they changed the win from just matching everything to adding airplanes, ice, level goals, would be fun if done correctly and if it didn’t change literally everything the game was already working fine with.

I used to have this game on my phone around 2020, and I recently re-downloaded it because I wanted to decorate rooms. The second I opened the app it showed me a weird cartoon pig or something, and after searching for the button to decorate a room for 5 minutes, I realized that feature was deleted. That was the ONLY reason I re-downloaded this app, and now it’s gone. If you’re SO determined to keep the pig thing, at least add an option to play the old version of the game. Please have a real person read this message, and don’t just use an auto response. I really want to see these changes in one of the next updates. Thank you for hearing me out.
More ads than games
This app is now trash. They’ve added so many ads that take almost a minute to click away from and you’re lucky to play two lives/boards in a row without getting another. They sold out to the big ad bs and will be losing players as a result. An ad or two here and there isn’t so bothersome, but when you’re as clicking more than playing there’s zero point in staying.

They added more ads and now it’s not relaxing at all
I love this game. I’ve played it for thousands of levels. With a recent update, they started including ads between levels even if you have lives left. I don’t find it relaxing at all anymore so I’ve stopped playing. I didn’t really care about all the pop ups and I would watch ads for more lives if I wanted to keep playing but having to watch an add every minute is way too grating on the experience.
Quitting after 450 levels
I’ve played this game for multiple years and it’s been going down hill for the past year or so, the game started very relaxing but they began to add pop up events and side games that block half of the room you’re trying to decorate! Then for some reason they decided to get rid of the rooms all together! That was like the whole point, relaxing room decoration! Now it’s not relaxing and they removed the rooms… EXTREMELY dissatisfied

Room Decorating?
I’m sad you can’t decorate the rooms anymore. That was my favorite part and why I have played the game for years. I deleted it off my phone as it doesn’t give you the option anymore. If the room decorating comes back, I will be the first to download again.
Used to be different
There is nothing Zen about this game. It used to be a sweet little coloring book and matching game with a Zen phrase of the day. It’s morphed into a giant money making machine. Silly me for hanging in there for so long hoping they’d change it back.
Please bring back the old zen match
The whole reason I loved this game is that it was different and relaxing with winning lotuses to decorate rooms. I hate this new feature of exploring islands. There’s no purpose and it makes it just like every other game out there. Bring back the rooms to decorate!!

The latest update forces ads between every play, unless you pay the ransom fee. Ridiculous.
ADS SUCK
This used to be one of my favorite games specifically because it didn’t have ads unless you chose them until this past week when ads started showing up after every game and slowing down everything!! This is NOT the regular little boxes that pop up that are already annoying. At least with those I have the option to click the X and close them immediately unlike these stupid ads. I just close the whole app and reopen it to avoid watching the ads. Makes me wanna DELETE the app!!
Not worth it
I used to love this game! But now you can’t make a move without having to watch an annoying ad.

I have been playing this game for a long time. Their new update includes A LOT of ads. If you don’t want ads you can pay 10.00. The ads pop up every other round. Annoying! What is worse is you can earn 15 minutes or more of free chances and these ads eat up that time. I recommend finding another game.. this game is ok if you like a lot of ads.

Bad game overall
This game is set up to we’re you can’t win unless you have coins. Even with coins it’ll set you up to the point were you can’t even win with the “advantages”. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. This game is anything , but relaxing. Also, why can’t the rewards roll over if you win them.
Used to be a nice game…
The latest update took away the “coloring page” feature and added even more ads. The ads are no longer just for boosts, but in between levels as well. I hate it.

Give us our rooms back 😩 Years of rooms gone in a flash with just one update! We don’t want to go on an adventure with a pig or we would have downloaded a different app!
Ads are unbearable
I’ve been playing this game for years, and the recent addition of ads is horrible. I’m not going to pay you because you decided to show me AI garbage after every two levels I attempt. I used to love this game, and now I can’t wait until I’m out of lives and I can close it. I’ll most likely delete the app soon if they keep ads in.

Was one of my top 2 games but within the past week or so they’ve added ads to every time you fail or pass a level. It’s obnoxious - too much. Give me a 15 min unlimited and then I spend half of it watching an ad. Bye.

Changes deterred me
So I’ve played this game for years, and it’s been so calming. It was simple, you match 2 pieces and do that for the whole mountain of pieces, then afterwards you get money to decorate rooms. Simple, and calming. But since the update and the the format and look changing, I reluctantly deleted the app. It went from that familiar simple and calming, to overstimulating and weird. Instead of matching 2, you now have to match 3 and there’s a bar at the bottom to keep it there. I wish there was a way I can undo the update and just keep the older version. Such a disappointment :(
I’m NOT spending money
Good game- very addictive. Downside is that not far into the game you either have to pay or you cannot actually win. The algorithm for “randomization” is a sham. I just want to zone out to find peace and a happy place- then this makes life worse.

If you're gonna have events, do one at a time, not stack them on top of each other so I have to wait a full minute in between each level for it to update my progress on each event. And what's with the pig? That's just a clear copy of that other stupid game. It doesn't make sense. This is really disappointing. I know you need to make money, but there's gotta be a better way than copying the horrific style of every other cash grab mobile game out there.
Why change the game??
The new update is so boring… I don't know why you would change it to that. The whole idea of decorating a space was so cute and fun, now what? You go through a map unlocking things and they're not even cute or fun. You don't get to choose anything or do anything now. You completely changed the whole idea of the game. I don't know why you would do that. Terrible game now. Deleting this game and getting a different one that is exactly how this one used to be. My heart is broken.
Hate the update
Haven’t been on this app in a while, but I love using it to wind down after a stressful or long day. My favorite part was decorating the rooms. Idc for the new “adventure” update. Now it’s just like every other game. Please bring back room decorating
