Lazy trash app
Job recommendations are based on who’s paying them, not job or location preferences. Even the bare-bones basics comparable apps have like hiding job titles, companies, etc., or reporting fraudulent jobs and marking external jobs as Applied, are missing from this one.
Poor use
None of the buttons work. Nothing is ever ready when I click it (i.e. “save job”, “view notifications”) very frustrating.
Bad! Outside my jurisdiction
I keep getting notifications of openings outside of my jurisdictions. My settings are set to remote in CA and I keep getting notifications for onsite/ out of state.
Search filters don’t filter.
Putting remote still shows on site only listings.

Search filters for wage, distance, or industry don’t work. No tool to report inaccurate jobs if they have their own website.

Most jobs are not relevant thus making ZipRecruiter a waste of time.
Remove the update force
I have the app install already and I can not use it because the app is forcing an update

The app is no good says something went wrong every time I’m looking for a job!

The whole time I was using this app it didn’t do nothing but give me error codes, then when I would try to pull up my resume it wouldn’t load, just had straight problems with it.

A.i. filters in a job search app. I can’t get even one serious job from here and I think all the post are automated and not really hiring. I can’t get even lock the job search to my area, I’m still getting jobs from 10 states over for something silly like a Sonic when I pass 10000 sonics hiring between here and Colorado. At least people actually call you from indeed.

I got an interview time where there was no manager there to give me the interview they told me to call back in a week and the position was taking that’s a big mess up
Haven’t found a job or no callbacks
No job thus far in housekeeping, security or as a nanny and I’ve done them all. I’ll continue on my own.
Wtf I was trying to find a job
The only other apps that make the notifications disappear after you click on one or gambling and casino apps if I’m looking for a job, you shouldn’t make all my notifications disappear because I clicked on one that’s counterintuitive to what I’m trying to accomplish

I’m disappointed with the jobs that are showing up on my feet. I have requested many times part-time I have been receiving nothing but full-time jobs and maybe one or two part-time jobs. This is not a benefit for me
Built around profile instead of resume
I have a word docx and pdf version on my resume. Uploading is a nightmare, and it will not upload your entire file. This platform and indeed are built around your profile rather than your experience and resume. If you don’t mind typing a resume over again section by section, this platform is for you. I rather not waste anymore time.

Horrible app
Even though you create a profile, this app doesn’t go by your wage preferences, location, or trade associated with your skill set. I hope other users have had a better experience but I deleted it due to it being largely AI run and a largely inferior app based on others out there currently. Good luck.
Unreliable
This app is ridiculous does not work whenever it feels like unable to apply for jobs. For those that I applied I haven’t received any response back not sure if it was expired job postings. Bottom line I have decided to delete the app
Expired/closed
Half of the jobs are false offers & I keep getting errors where it won’t even pull up the application to continue. All it will say is “undefined” & a blank page.

The app is giving me a message saying I cannot apply for no jobs

All these jobs I get from “Phil”, my “career advisor” (worst yet), do not match my experience. No wonder I can’t get any help. Nobody wants to.

Every time I try to open the app it won’t let me, it keeps saying some is wrong with the app and that I need to try again but I keep doing that and it still saying the same thing, I had to delete my account cause it won’t allow me to open the app
Can’t remove options
There’s no way to shorten what job options don’t fit you/prevent from seeing the same options that you know you’re not interested but can’t remove.

I’ve had this app for at least six months and 95% of the job descriptions that are sent to me could not be further from my area of specialty or even anywhere within the broad sense of being in IT. Most of their emails claim that “this is a job that lines up with my resume”, “you’re a perfect fit”, or some other ridiculous claim. Ziprecruiter is, by far, the worst app that has ever been made. On a scale of 1-5 they do not even register at one star. HORRIBLE search parameters and I’ve never found a job that’s even similar to one that I’d consider applying for. This is completely useless!

Need a remove job option
There needs to be an option to remove jobs from the list. Not a single job listing matched my search.
Fake job listings and terrible UI
Majority of jobs posted are not actual jobs, they are phishing for your info to sell to advertisers. The few listings that are actually real end up having already hired somebody and just didn’t take down the post. On top of the problems with the “employers” on this app, the app itself is awful. Most jobs require you to fill the application on an external site, but when you click to start applying it opens the application on a poorly optimized browser within the ZipRecruiter app and no option to open the link in another browser on my phone that actually works. I have had to completely start over my applications numerous times because the browser it opens does not work like an actual browser. This app is not designed in any way to search for employment, it just signs you up for spam mail.

I have tried to delete this app. I have tried to remove my account. I have tried everything. I just wanted to look at it Once and now I'm stuck with them!

I love this app for finding jobs but it spams way to much with it’s ai I am not gonna lie but it has become so tiresome and annoying that even when I unsubscribe or block its ai bot it still spams my email with jobs that are hours away from me even when I put find only find jobs that are 30 minutes or 25 minutes away! I get a notification for a job in Macon or Atlanta that is an hour or two hours away like wth?! Also there are fake jobs that still remain even when you report them? So far when I first downloaded the app I loved it but now it’s just a ai bot spamming fest app! And for some reason when I turn the emails off I still get spammed?! With junk/jobs that don’t fit my skill sets that are hours away from me!

You have to enter all your work experience manually. Why can‘t they autofill from uploaded resume? Most websites can do that
It keeps kicking me out
Every time I open the app I have to sign in and then it kicks me out in the middle of a search! I can’t get through one job listing without it asking me to sign in again.

I really enjoyed using ZipRecruiter to find jobs and opportunities but it seem like everyday it’s signing me out and repeatedly asking me to sign back in.
Terrible job suggestions
I am using a variety of job search apps, and this one is by far the worst. Job suggestions are not even close to my field, and states away. I’m looking for retail management in WV, specifically in my radius. Zip recruiter emails me and notifies me of “job matches” such as cosmologist in Ohio, telephone operator in New Jersey, or physician in Pennsylvania.

Can't apply to jobs
I can't apply to any of the jobs and always get errors. No matter what I always get some sort of error when applying for a job.

I have applied to several different places listed on ZIP never received a call on one . I use a different site and gotten 7 different calls on application submitted on their site.
