was a good app now will not play anything. have tried reinstalling but still won't play anything

Unskippable, un pausable, unhideable pointless adverts for the exact thing I'm already looking at. E.g search 'match of the day' and get an obnoxious distracting video taking up half of the usable screen advertising.... errr,... BBC Sports! Creeping ensh**ification. Its a slippery slope.

Unintelligible on so many levels. One wonders how it got commissioned! It's awful.
This app has always been clunky at best, but about a month ago we started getting error codes and it stopped working. Despite troubleshooting, nothing worked and after searching for other solutions, I ended up on the BBC iPlayer help page with the promise of a solution. It turns out that solution is wiping your TV! Very disappointing as there's no way I'm factory resetting my TV just to get one app to work, so it's goodbye from a longtime loyal user.

For the best part of twice the cost of any other streaming service, and if the application is working correctly iPlayer will give you access to a very limited and stagnant selection of programs and films . although the BBC do produce or support some fantastic television once in a blue moon, if it wasn't for cbeebies and CBBC for the kids, this streaming service would be first on the chopping block for cancellation.

If you enjoy glitches and constant error codes then this is the app for you. especially if you pay for your TV licence and have to put up with the poor standard of this app. The problems are across many different platforms, PS4/5 iPhone and android. don't bother getting this it's useless I don't give it any stars, but I can't post my comment without giving at least 1 star.
Downloaded Eastenders to watch offline but you need a signal to log in to watch something offline. I though offline was when you had no signal. Completely pointless having a download option if you cannot watch something when you got no signal!

Awful. The BBC is an outdated relic.
every single time I try and sign in it says aw snap and I keep having to reload the page and it automatically reloads to start again
