This app is simple, easy and quick to login. I personally don't use the auto login feature b/c I'm paranoid but when I need to access the app it's a very quick login so not that much of an inconvenience. Has an easy search tool when you start adding a lot of accounts. 5 stars! update. 6.12.26 I have become a paid subscriber for a few years but recently let it lax. now I can't even access the app. they advertised free access and that I would still have access after it expired, but it won't. 1 ⭐️
now you cant even use the app unless you are subscribed to premium

Won't let me unsubscribe or login through the website. They have my card information and arent forthcoming with how to access to change the information or delete it. Customer service is even worse. Blocked behind garbage "A.I." machines and once I get to a person, it's all condescending behavior and being directed to links that I can find through any search engine. Just use DuckDuckGo and save your passwords in a secure folder. This app used to be free and easily accessible. Now, it's trash.

Getting worse. Buggy, crashing, have to enter 2FA code *twice*, etc. Less support for fido keys. Many issues after switching to pixel 9 pro so could be related. Long time loyal customer dissatisfied with the decreasing quality. Step up dashlane or bitwarden is next! Update: Yesterday what cannot happen happened. Dashlane locked me out from my account for 24h with 0 communication effectively servering me from all digital life including work.
Long time paying customer, Dashlane have recently stopped supporting older devices on ios. Even worse they no longer allow browser access to dashlane if needed so it's a useless loop of not being able to access your passwords. The best bit? Dashlane then disable your account on all devices and don't have a human easily contactable, only the worst possible excuse for a support ai. Exactly what you need for a password vault controlling your access to everything. Way to go dashlane. Not recommended
you have got to be kidding me. first of all, a verification code that's good for 3 hours is ridiculous and does not feel safe at all. and If I'm paying: 💰 $60/year and I get a security alert while sitting on my couch with my phone... I should be able to: 📱 view sessions 📱 view activity 📱 revoke devices 📱 secure my account without: 💻 find a desktop 💻 install an extension 💻 jump through hoops. I'm cancelling the second I export my passwords. and yes I have the premium version
I have to PAY to talk to someone, fake account created in a country I DON'T live, horrible service
account got suspended due to erroneous login from someone. got email that tells my account is suspended and it said that i need to contact support. contacted support and got auto reply instead. tried to talk with the chatbot and it doesnt know anything. no human agent since i am not paying. tried my recoveries options and my 2FA but they didnt work. leave this app or else you'd get locked out randomly like this without clarity.
Newest update has just made the app unusable taking way more time to login than necessary and now your only option to actually use basic functions like password management is with payment. What a bunch of sellouts per usual, it is never about people only profits. It was a great app in the beginning, I had been using dashlane since around 2014 and other updates limited what you could do for free but at least there was visibility and access without payment for small things

Company not to be trusted, use Bitwarden for best in class password mgr. Edit: reduced rating to 1 star. Daily user since 2013 and have relied on this service daily since then. But Dashlane has altered it's business model. Without warning it revoked my active Premium status and blocked my entire account across all devices. Tried to resolve the issue with customer support filing official complaint and provided evidence. They have ignored my complaint.

I've been a customer for years but now the app insists my plan is expired, even tho it's still 100% active. It showed a new autofill was added at one point suddenly, but it still locks me out of using anything. The AI chatbot says my email isn't registered which is bs lol, and means that I can't get an agent from their customer service!!! And yes I tried specifying to the chatbot that there might be an issue with renewal. Again, it won't help me bc it says I'm not a customer. was 5⭐
I'm locked out of my app with an error message saying my subscription is expired although I'm paid through 5/13. I can't get help on chat bot, can't get help through support email bc it just gives me the same instructions as the chat bot that don't work. Can't locate a phone number to talk to an actual human.......extremely dissatisfied.
When I scan a 2FA, SAVE IT. How is this not obvious?

Avoid at all costs! I had been a happy, paying user for years until my account autorenewed for 2026 (I have proof I was charged.) Now Dashlane is insisting my account is expired and will not let me log in, even to try to figure out what is going on. AI chat bot that passes for "help" on their website can't find evidence I have an account at that email address (same one I've used for 10+ years, btw) and without it refuses to give me any information about how to contact a human.

I paid for the month of April yet my subscription was cancelled overnight. It seems like they changed to a different subscription model but provided no notice of the change in subscription. When I tried to contact an agent to prove I paid for the month I was stonewalled by an AI chat bot that would not connect to a human support person without having a paid account. I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience.

I have been using dashlane for many years. I still have an active subscription that was renewed on Google Plays Store on April 11. but on April 15, i just wake up to see that I am locked out of my Dashlane account because my 'plan expired'? i can see the email for billing and active subscription. What is even weirder is that the Dashlane Support bot claims 'couldn't find a Dashlane account linked th that email.' I am stuck and completely locked out wtihout any available support.
Great on mobile app, terrible on desktop. I don't like it have to use the browser extension. it's clumsy and not easy to use. I'm a long time dashlane customer but this is a show stopper for me. It's very difficult to update passwords for some sites. They took something that was easy to use and me it very cumbersome. I end up having to email passwords from my phone to my desktop. you shouldn't have to do that.

The latest update is a big problem. When adding a new login I can't freetype an email address, I have to pick from a list. This is stupid.

A couple of years ago when I started using this app, autofill choices were in a dropdown menu like on desktop, which is easier to use than the horizontal bar above the keyboard you get now. The most annoying thing though is that the suggested choices aren't being sorted on subdomain matching, only by domain. They eventually fixed it, even though their customer services told me they won't fix it. But since about 1 months ago, they've broken it again.

like don't get me wrong here decent password app but why have absolutely no option to change the app to dark mode and rely solely on the system wide dark mode? Some apps don't look good being light or "white". Seriously tho no dark mode setting in 2026? 🙄 It'd be like forgetting the fonts to a word processing app 😅 no they aren't necessary but you would like to have the option no? But yeah I can pick what the app icon looks like but not a basic dark mode or not option. The PC extension has it?
I can't send feedback any way but here despite paying for a premium account. android app on my phone (but not on my tablet) keeps telling me i have to approve dashlane autofilling in my browser again, but only gives me the option to do it for chrome, which I don't have on my tablet and dont use on my phone. so stupid app doesn't fill in firefox on my tablet anymore. and also is giving me grief in firefox on pc (win11) and apps on my phone.
I've been a customer since 2021, but that ends when our Family plan expires in 2 months. We've been on the family plan for 4 years now, and I always found it a bit on the more expensive side, comparing it to the competition. Now that you're introducing price hikes, we're tapping out. It's been a good run, but your prices are unreasonable. There's also no free tier.
It got worse through the years, I would literally have to open the app because the pop up to autofill your log in would not show up, got tired & canceled my subscription.
You ask for master password to autofill, then the login page doesn't work, autofill no longer works, open the app, ask for email and master password. Ugh you are annoying! Stop getting in my way! Edit: no no, the account is good. The issue is that you once already asked for master password, tried to autofill but the page had hick ups and then dashlane asks me to fully log in again, I just gave you the master password!
