The AI chatbot says my email isn't registered which is bs lol, and means that I can't get an agent from their customer service!!! And yes I tried specifying to the chatbot that there might be an issue with renewal. Again, it won't help me bc it says I'm not a customer. was 5⭐

AI chat bot that passes for "help" on their website can't find evidence I have an account at that email address (same one I've used for 10+ years, btw) and without it refuses to give me any information about how to contact a human.

I paid for the month of April yet my subscription was cancelled overnight. It seems like they changed to a different subscription model but provided no notice of the change in subscription. When I tried to contact an agent to prove I paid for the month I was stonewalled by an AI chat bot that would not connect to a human support person without having a paid account. I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience.

I have been using dashlane for many years. I still have an active subscription that was renewed on Google Plays Store on April 11. but on April 15, i just wake up to see that I am locked out of my Dashlane account because my 'plan expired'? i can see the email for billing and active subscription. What is even weirder is that the Dashlane Support bot claims 'couldn't find a Dashlane account linked th that email.' I am stuck and completely locked out wtihout any available support.

I end up having to email passwords from my phone to my desktop. you shouldn't have to do that.

The latest update is a big problem. When adding a new login I can't freetype an email address, I have to pick from a list. This is stupid.

Received this email from Dashlane saying "Your Dashlane account has been deleted: We are reaching out to inform you that your account has been deleted." I'm paid through Nov. 2026, and the app confirms this. Not the first time Dashlane has done this, and it's impossible to reach support or assistance. Of course, the email comes from a "no-reply" address. The only "help" they offer is their "help center" which - surprise - is useless. Why do we all put up with this nonsense?? Enough is enough.

You will get no help from Dashlane support when you have a problem. Google is tied to Dashlane, so whenever you wish to log in, you need to sign a Google account first. Totally sucks.
Having to PAY to SEE your own passwords is next level scam. Will gladly let everyone know to not touch this app with a 20-foot pole. Disgusting and predatory

this app got worse. like, i dont understand how they could even make it worse! its like they are vibe coding a bot to vibe code the platform. i feel bad for everyone with dashlane on their resume.

Declared my device too old to support, I'm unable to login as a result. Went from "as many passwords as you like" for free, to "limited passwords", to "pay us or we delete your passwords" There is no way to login anywhere but the app and since support for my device was dropped with NO WARNING, not only are my passwords inaccessible, but I can't even ask them to delete my account. Utter dogshit. Glad I copied my stuff elsewhere before they blindsided me. Data loss like this is inexcusable.
AUTO FILL PROBLEM & DELAYED VERIFICATION CODE PROBLEM. On Android devices if you have purchased a separate VPN app, to fix the problem of Dashlane not auto filling your user name & passwords, you need to go to Settings, Apps, then to your particular purchased VPN. Allow all Permissions & all Notifications for the VPN app. Problem Solved, no thanks to Dashlane! But there is no fix for Dashlane's main problem - there are often long delays in sending out automated 6 digit log-in verification codes.

Does not work efficiently
my plan expired. however, I'm not able to delete my data only to export. why is dashlane holding captive the data without possibility to delete!?
I used Dashlane for a couple of years and was happy with it until I lost my phone. When I got a replacement phone there was no way I could get back my passwords. I let my subscription expire because I couldn't get a response by email or phone and I tried for 3 months to contact Dashlane. Over 12 months later and I have never recovered a single password.
this will not give me my information and it won't let me access my app unless I pay and I am now going to open a lawsuit for this because they have stolen information and want me to buy it back

I just updated today and completely lost everything from the last 10+ years. I am devastated.
Good but to many free options out there. I used it until they starting limiting the free version. Just a basic password manager. Not worth buying when there's other free apps that do the same. Worked good while I used it. also, in order to delete your account, you have to download and install an extension to your browser on a computer. I want to delete things, not install more.
i have been using the app for a few years but tdy it randomly stopped letting me log in because my password is "wrong" i didnt change it and no one else accessed my account so what is wrong with the app? i cant reset my password or recover it either because it says i need a recovery key that i have never heard of, so all my stuff is gone...
Dashlane has been next to useless the last few month's. Won't generate new passwords, and once I create one it won't save them, everything is done manually by me. Garbage
I can't send feedback any way but here despite paying for a premium account. android app on my phone (but not on my tablet) keeps telling me i have to approve dashlane autofilling in my browser again, but only gives me the option to do it for chrome, which I don't have on my tablet and dont use on my phone. so stupid app doesn't fill in firefox on my tablet anymore. and also is giving me grief in firefox on pc (win11) and apps on my phone.
I've been a customer since 2021, but that ends when our Family plan expires in 2 months. We've been on the family plan for 4 years now, and I always found it a bit on the more expensive side, comparing it to the competition. Now that you're introducing price hikes, we're tapping out. It's been a good run, but your prices are unreasonable. There's also no free tier.
It got worse through the years, I would literally have to open the app because the pop up to autofill your log in would not show up, got tired & canceled my subscription.
You ask for master password to autofill, then the login page doesn't work, autofill no longer works, open the app, ask for email and master password. Ugh you are annoying! Stop getting in my way! Edit: no no, the account is good. The issue is that you once already asked for master password, tried to autofill but the page had hick ups and then dashlane asks me to fully log in again, I just gave you the master password!
paying for the app and it's okay not the greatest. ui is basic they try and force you to let them generate passwords and makes it messy. plus any time you need it have to stop re-sign in. doesn't always auto populate login pass.
Suddenly will not accept my password on computer, insiginia at the top is gone for dashlane
like don't get me wrong here decent password app but why have absolutely no option to change the app to dark mode and rely solely on the system wide dark mode? Some apps I don't like it being light or "white" dashlane is one, now I swear I had it dark before so is the option gone? Seriously tho no dark mode setting in 2026? 🙄 It'd be like forgetting or getting rid of the fonts to a word processing app 💁🏼♂️😅 no they aren't necessary but you would like to have the option no? Too expensive with other apps like Bitwarden at one third the price. Easy transition from Dashlane to Bitwarden
