So, I've swiped some, no luck, but im ugly so thats to be expected. Not really the apps fault. What pisses me off, when I dont use the app for a while, it sends me notifications that someone has messaged me but name in the notification. When I open the app it says there was an issue and no message. Pretty sure the app scams me into opening it to boost its use stats and or ad revenue. Ill use the app when I want not when im scammed. Fix it.
App sends dummy messages you can't open to get engagement, with no option to report bugs. 500MB+ of stored data for a dating app? FORCES you to expand radius for more matches - If I know I don't want to drive >50 miles, don't force unuseful matches! I'd say just use the site, but this is crooked AF. Used to be a good site

Absolutely riddled with scammers
Don't bother. They will make you take off pfps with any filters on it, the appeals team for this will default to "you're wrong" and it's overrated (for guys). I got a pic with a filter banned yet two accounts AI pfps were matched with me and they are scammers. This isn't worth anyone's time.

it sends you fake notifications telling you you have a message in order to get you to open the app and browse more. filthy liars .
Not worth it. If you are straight, you will be getting likes from gay people. if you are gay, you will be getting likes from straight people. The cost is too much for how lame it is.

Demanding tons of money, but it has the worst chat platform I've seen! It has delayed or no notifications, delayed send/receive, plus failed communications... It's nerve wrecking and Total waste of time and money!
1. The app send you fake likes from people to trick you into thinking you're liked, once you pay those profiles disappear. 2. After you pay you still have to pay more to send messages, paying means you can only see who viewed your profile. the app shows you profiles that have not been active in two or three years and you don't even know that they're active or not until you pay to send a message. 25% of profiles are fake they're either supermodels or porn stars.

this app has customer service bots that pretend to be real people. calling themselves human names and never saying that theyre bots. feels like this is probably illegal. its impossible to reach a human being.
Well this place has changed dramatically from yrs ago and its not free anymore, be prepared to pay just to see who liked u and u can't message anyone without paying a premium unfortunately. I'm only here because bs meta fb dating for no reason at all removed my profile without any place to appeal the bs removal. fb is known for punishing the innocent and letting the scammers and bots run free.

do not pay for this service 60% of the girls are bots or scams. and they charge you $30 a month and you can't even message anyone and they keep sending you messages saying someone liked you so you have to pay to see likes and when you do the girls who liked you there profiles can't be found this app is a cash grab
I deleted my account in April, but i got charged again after the fact
POINTLESS to use now, they charge per first contact the company obviously has no clue how many messages men have to send to get a response. SCAM
gay not enough gay men on the site
distance options are entirely useless, as the app will adjust them as it sees fit to "show more options." undesirable feature for me - distance is a deal breaker, I'm not interested in long distance relationships. there is also no way to filter out profiles of people who do not meet your filter criteria on the primary "stack" which makes it near useless as well.
Tell me about it. Talked to someone whose profile showed Texas but turned out they were from Nigeria only other person on there that was actually real was a dude. No women on this app!

I was just deducted from my bank and I've been trying to get it refunded because I no longer want to use the app. I need that money put back in or I'll contact consumer affairs.
On the app for over a month. Not a single real person contact. Every single contact was either a bot acct or a scammer acct. Constant problems with the app erroring when trying to send messages. Not to mention they want you to pay extra to send more than 3 hello's in a day even on a monthly plan. It's sad when I can say Grindr is a better app than this at actually meeting a real person.

Android app is terrible. Web based access is better but is terribly lacking. Everything was much better 4 years ago. POF has removed every beneficial feature to aid in dating. This app really is only good for browsing now. Always the same very few profiles in rotation. there's no one in their data base...
app just stopped working march 2026 nothing I do will get it to open . ive been intouch with pof . no matter what I do it keeps saying loading error retry .but nothing opens up the app .weird thing is I've had a no problem profile for a year or so . how can I resolve the issue pof . update end of April 2026 after many attempts by pof I'm still frozen out of pof so I've given up
I have over 60 likes but no matches at all lol like cmon now, even when I know we match it still says find out who by paying. This app is definitely a scam no doubt in my mind
