I have found Facebook dating much more responsive and many more to choose from.

Rubbish
you can't post pictures of a dog but they'll let scammers on here with fake profiles wasting time match you with people out of state or on the other side of the state. local search is worthless. this app is a,waste of time and money
Android app is terrible. Web based access is better but is terribly lacking. Everything was much better 4 years ago. POF has removed every beneficial feature to aid in dating. This app really is only good for browsing now. Always the same members, very few profiles in rotation. there's no one in their data base... a collection of some of the ugliest people ever.
there is no way to contact customer service! the app isn't letting me read profiles and I'm not out for a one night stand so I want to know about who I may be talking to or letting in my life! absolute waste of time. received nothing but harrassment notifications. log out receive a notification straight away. log back in and it's just another one flogging the upgrade. didn't once received any messages. literally not one! and they think it's worth paying for!!!!!!! pffft
REPORT APP AS FRAUD TO GOOGLE AND SOMEONE SUE THIS COMPANY. A bunch of people have been banned this month for no reason after paying for services, either the app has issues or new owners took over and decided to only keep certain types of people. Anyone who rates 5 star is paid to do so. This used to be my favorite dating app until literally I hadnt talked to anyone in over 3 weeks, yet suddenly I was banned for NO REASON and no one in customer service would tell me why or lift the ban.
Plenty of catfish, I should say. so many fat and ugly people. and lots of abandoned profiles that haven't logged in for months! I'm disappointed and regret paying for premium membership.
Fix the photo verify, I have done it, says success and then say no try again. unable to review and read messages, as it's not loading properly. To many scam profile, please be careful. Its not worth my money and has not match me with no one. I regret paying a subscription. This app is not to it's expectation as protecting anyone photo's. I'm able to screen shot photo's of other's.
Get something else. Wanted to try the app out, made an account, instantly got banned no warning. Support told me to make a new account, so I made a new account, and that account got banned too. Tried making another account, couldn't do it because my number was associated with the banned account. Made an appeal, and said that I have not even used the service yet, and they denied my appeal saying I violated the terms and agreements. Tech Support is trash. Shut this service down.
Got to be the worst app ever for customer services. They don't respond if you are locked out of your account. No point replying here POF, please respond to my emails where it actually matters. Genuinely a horrible experience.

Was on here a while back...2015... and it was an experience, had some entertaining fun , sometimes fun and some not so good! Gave it a 2nd chance few yrs ltr being 2026...more than a few yrs Move on,. Shite now!
no good. they manipulate ypur search features to show you only certain accounts
has the male you're supposed to put all this information so your profile isn't hidden. the women don't even have the information filled out but yet there's their profile.
slow! They won't let you see a profile but charged and the clock is ticking while they "verify" my profile and picture. pay for 3 months but if they take long to finally verity you lose that time of what you paid for. Why not just ask for an official ID? There has to be a faster more efficient way with all the technology available
ive been using this app on and off since 2015. 95% or more of the profiles shown are dead unused profiles deliberatly not deleted by pof or archived by pof. this is why they dont show last time profile logged in. if they did and i know atleast 6 in my area alone, that havent been logged into since 2015 and probably way b4 that.

Very misleading. Iran is listed but phone verification doesn’t accept Iranian numbers.
terrible app, doesn't update, paid for premium and benefits aren't available waste of money and the online site won't even let me in to cancel my subscription and the contact support option seems to be non existent.
they implemented a new system for phone numbers, but their customer support is too incompetent to help

I'd never pay for this clown app. They send notifications saying you have a "like" and it's fake. They will send multiple notifications for hours everyday, at the same time, then nothing. You've been warned.
so you pay $20 to meet more people and yet all you meat is more bots. more fake accounts, more people. just trying to get you to subscribe to only fans to jump to telegram to go anywhere else but an actual date. it's sad and pathetic that men have to pay to try and meet somebody but still can't meet anybody

can't cancel! you have to jump through hoops to try and cancel but you can't! the customer service number doesn't work! I've tried every way possible to cancel!
Total rubbish. Completed everything taking time to give a full description, but then it asked me to sign in again. Then it tells me my password is incorrect. Don't waste your time here with this crazy app. Google should remove it. Update. It is now 4 years later since my first posting above, so I thought that by now the website would be organised so has another attempt. No difference, it did not save anything and now it does not recognise my log in details. Polite words now fail me.

This is bull! Pof continually deletes accounts for no reason i have made 5 accounts in less than a day just for them to be deleted! This site is nothing more than a waste of time and energy! edit: decided to try again. pof used to be a free app! now you have to pay to send first messages?! wtaf?!
pretty sure its all bots now. I'm in shape I'm a chief engineer. fairly handsome and not a single match but constant ads and profiles that say message me and you can only message someone if you purchase they're all fake profiles. there may be a few profiles sprinkled in there but the majority of them are fake

there's a lot of escorts trans etc on this app some real women but it's sad men can't even be somewhat happy or have hope on dating apps anymore sick
Omg pof stands for plenty of felons every single guy on there seems to have a record I talked to 5 guys all 5 have records this site is trash I suggest women try a safer site. plus they will ban your ap if a member makes a false report on you
