Played the game for years. Now just stuck on Logo. Deleted cache, uninstall, and reinstalled. Just not working. When you decide to fix I'll think about reinstalling. No, I'm not contacting support.
DO NOT EVEN DOWNLOAD IF YOU'RE NOT INTO PAY TO WIN GAMES. The developer has unironically lowered the catch rates for several Pokémon, the reward Pokémon require at least 10+ balls to catch (such a reward, huh?) and you will be stuck having to spend actual money to get the experience advertised. It's depressing, frankly, as Pokémon Go used to be fun, now it's just exploitative. Not to mention them casually profiting off of our data while money gouging us lol.
The game is ok,but eventually you grind to a halt unless you spend money or walk miles to a poke center. You should add an option watch ads for pokeballs.
I see why the player count dropped so hard, completely pathetic and unrealisticly unbalanced, a complete sell out, genuinely this is so unimaginably ruined it's laughable, I would rather play call of duty vanguard and say they had 100% historical accuracy than recommended people this game, I would recommend cigarettes before this, casual play is completely out the window with extreme metas, and completely unrealistic and frustratingly enjoyable raids, a well deserved 3 star, deserves worse cys ❤

I think there's a bug that's bee going on for years now. The game doesn't open up/you get black screen after the loading screen while it plays the ingame audio in the background
Most recent update, 23 June 2026, has broken Adventure Sync again. I walked 14km one day and PoGo credited me with just 5.41km - And Niantic wants us to pay to play some features for a broken product???? Their help is useless when contacted - just sent me a paste of the online help entry. How about FIXING THE ISSUE????
The new GBL system is ridiculed for having built-in lag and apparently players "loved" that?

JUST DELETED THE APP! 1st off, u only ever find the same 10 pokemon over & over. I don't understand why they only put 1% of the pokemon world on Go. 2nd, game disables my VPN which is a big no no 4 me, I care about my phone safety, that's a big concern 4 me. 3rd, the game dangerously overheats my phone 2 the point i put it in the freezer 2 cool it down once. 4th, the game frequently freezes & crashes & lastly, it's taking up over 2GB on my phone... that's just 2 much 4 a terrible game like this.
I can't spin the gyms for items because the Dynamax battles are running non stop, and I don't even care for those battles at all so I can't even be excited about it. It's just annoying.
Severe backend database bug on my Level 46 account. Zero Team GO Rocket Balloons have spawned since day 1 of account creation. In-game support agents keep copy-pasting automated scripts and closing tickets (#41770850) without transferring to engineers. Completely broken customer support for dedicated players.
Child endangerment. UPDATE: Months later the same users have found us in a different city and are back to harassing us. Niantic refused to ban them and continues to refuse to take action. My kid was being stalked and harassed through the app. Niantic was notified with evidence and they said it wasn't their problem and refused to ban or punish the abusers. Niantic has openly admitted to manipulating matches and constant errors resulting in unjust losses.
one star for what they did with AI
When we spend 200 coins on updating, there are pokemon storage or items. It should be more than just 50. Can you guys make it 100... Would be way better. Also, can we get more pokeballs to try and catch galarian birds' pokemons? Please.
This new format for seasons is absolutely horrendous. All we got is nerf after nerf to gameplay, and it's so incredibly boring to play day to day now. Want to do a Max Raid? Well, there's barely any power spots now. Showcases? No, only on Tuesdays, between 10:00 and 20:00. Free currency to do Mega Raids, great! Also: no more Mega Raids on Gyms. This is, from a game play perspective, the worst it's been in 10 years
Game keeps crashing regardless of whether I clear the cache, restart the game or the phone, or uninstall or re-install the game. Fix your game when?
GARBAGE support. They never listen, never help, never fix bugs, you can't progress, make 1000 support tickets and they ignore you without fixing it It's pointless don't bother. They just will scam money from you while doing nothing to fix known bugs like quest progress stuck even with doing said steps 1000 times with video submissions to them They just close support cases and will do nothing to fix the known bugs or give progress So no I don't recommend it and it's pointless to try
Please fix foldable/tablet view. It's impossible to play on those devices ...

APPARENTLY when you transfer your Pokémon from Go to any other app like Pokémon Home or your Nintendo Switch, you CAN'T transfer them back. It's just very silly, and they don't even warn you about it. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Most money wins now.
Still a terrible game for rural players, or anyone playing in a non US or EU major city. You'd think that they would have done something about that in over 10 years, but they're too busy counting their BILLIONS to make a good game.

did a shadow raid but it didn't take me to the encounter when I tried to submit a complaint for it app asks me to send a picture of the incident but when I try to send a picture it sends me to my gallery which closes the Pokémon app so when I try to send the pictures it restart Pokémon go so I literally can't submit a complaint form. I tired their support website and they just tell me to use the app 🙄
I have long been a critic of this game. The issues of Pokestops limited availability., etc. Raids, you need raid passes to participate and be at a gym to play. But they also cost gold. You can have 5 pokemon in a gym but only make 50 gold from one Pokemon. So you fight to maintain control for nothing. And you can only have 3 remote raid passes at once. So you miss out on the occasional free one because you have 3. Why limit? Why can't you transfer traded Pokemon?
Used to work perfectly, since the last update it will not log in and yes I tried all the troubleshooting "tips"
trading is dumb what's the point of a trading evolution if I can't get it back when I trade it once

I spent a lot of money on the game and my phone is no longer compatible to play the game I am disappointed that the compatibility changed on me I was a everyday player and can't even play anymore and spent hundreds of dollars in the course of 2018 to 2024 I am not happy with the way that it turned out for me
The Game is buggy, the PVP doesn't work properly and they're just money hungry people. if you're not playing or have never played it, do not waste your time.

Dear Niantic Kids, if I could give a 0 stars I would. Why did you make it so hard to create an account! Can't you make it way easier where, you only put the email account, put your username and, you're in! Please make this possible or my review would not change.
