I’m giving the app one star because it constantly requires me to review it. Most apps you review one time in the entire course of your usage. This app requires me to review it every week or so. That is why it gets one star
These cameras don’t work….
I purchased 9 cameras. 2 of them doesn’t work. Trying to work with customer service because the cameras are covered under the limited warranty have been a pain as I could not return them to the store and no one in customer service has been able to help me. The motion sensors click is really loud. I’m woken up from my sleep in the middle of the night. The app is worse. Its slow and freezes up. This whole ordeal had been a nightmare and an expensive lesson to learn to not continue doing business with this company.
Constantly goes offline; doorbell stopped ringing; blurry video at night; sound is garbled
This is too much trouble shooting re wifi issues when all the other devices at home are connected to WiFi & working fine.

New interface is horrible!
Arlo use to be awesome. Very easy to use & intuitive. Now that we’ve been forced into using the latest version, we hate it. We can’t figure out how to configure the system to work the way we had the old version set & their “help” is useless. At this point we’re looking into a competitor & will get rid Arlo at the first opportunity.

These cameras are terrible. They don’t update for days for some reason. They disconnect from the WiFi randomly. Wish I would’ve got another brand. Customer service has been unhelpful. I was out of state with my sick child in the hospital for months. They told me they could help me when I’m near the cameras again. Not reliable. My house was left unprotected for months because I relied on these devices. I explained the situation. They refused to refund me so I canceled my account. They have never worked the way they are supposed to. Very disappointing and too expensive to just not work.

I can't mute completely the notifications the battery doesn't last to many information should be more simple not happy about it

Map gets messed up often
The maps continually doubles and it will not know where it is. And has even fell down the stairs because of the doubling of the map

why is everything depending on wifi just stop making me wait for the screen to load oh my GOD ! If I miss a package being delivered to my house it'll be your fault.

The cameras don’t pick up some of the animals and don’t always work on other things. I don’t like the latest version!!! I would like to get the original version back. It is very difficult to see how much battery power is left and everything thing else.

Overly complicated a simple process
I loved the old app. It was simple and reliable. This new app overcomplicates the process with schedules and routines. It used to be easy to schedule some cameras to be on during the day when I was home, all of them to be armed during the day, and all of them to be armed when I left (geofencing). Now the schedule overrides the “away routine.” Why fix something that wasn’t broke, just to break it.
