As a woman I would strongly discourage people from using this app. And please don’t fall for let’s exchange phone numbers with someone you don’t even know. All the “relationships” I had thru this app were horrible. I maybe met one person who was actually a good human being. That feature about your location put me at big risk once. Stay safe and cancel ✌️. Try organic stuff, be more social, sometimes staying single is even safer. I had to report one of my dates to the police and we went on trial. Never again.

Weekly subscription trap
It guides you to subscribe through the app and not through Apple. I was charged a recurring $32.99 per week, but did not realize it. Those charges add up quickly. I understand subscriptions may renew automatically, but there were no reminders, or messages that it was being renewed. I didn’t see it until I saw my credit card statement. The app was fine, but the billing experience left a very negative impression.
Bumble Boost is a ripoff
For $20 for a week, you still don’t get access to seeing who liked you. It isn’t clear from the promotional material.

Payments
There has been a glitch on the app for a week now where I’m unable to make a payment for the subscription without using Apple Pay. Please have someone other than AI contact me immediately.
Wasn’t even able to complete a profile
I literally help people every day / save lives, but before I was able to even finish my profile (as in within 15 minutes, I was banned). No idea what’s going on here, but that seems weird to me.

Now I know how guys feel about bot accounts! Guys can now bypass by using one real pic where you can barely see them and a bunch of AI or fake pics of someone completely different. There is also no way to filter out couples looking for a 3rd or people seeking trans women. Such a horrible waste of money and time. Also, no one seems to message after mutual matches even if I message them first, so not sure it’s an actual person since the pics do look a little too good to be true and what they write in their profile sounds too good. I’m so mad I wasted money on this stupid app! Also, when you do talk to someone they either get creepy right away or don’t want to drive out of their area and expect you to…I expect a compromise in driving, I’m not some dumb teenager willing to always drive somewhere for a boy.

So I can’t connect or chat with anyone without paying for it? That makes absolutely no sense. There are extra things that you can pay for, but having to pay to actually talk to someone basically makes the app inaccessible if you’re not able to pay for the premium. It was very greedy and very disappointing. So don’t get this app unless you have the money to pay, otherwise you’re just going to be swiping aimlessly and having people like you without being able to actually chat with them or see Hinge is so much better, user friendly and you can actually meet people without having to pay. Taimi is a good second option.
Basically a scam
Costs $20 PER WEEK to see who likes you. Otherwise you just have to swipe for days to hopefully encounter their profile. I’ve paid for premium before and it seems that only when I cancel premium do the likes actually start coming to entice me to start wasting my money on a dating app subscription. There are real people on the app and matches to be made but this app intentionally makes connection difficult to extract money from you. Don’t pay $100/ month for features that are FREE on other apps

Only matching with scammers. This is bad for mental health. Makes me feel very bad about myself. Quit early and they kept my money even though I deleted my account. This whole app feels predatory to singles.

It’s genuinely baffling that you’re expected to pay so much money just to use the app. The “free version” is basically unusable because you aren’t able to filter other people or see your likes. Dating is hard enough without their being such a nonsensical barrier to entry.

You will find the ugliest souls on this app and get ripped off for it. It’s $40 a week! Every picture is extremely filtered and filled with women who are all the same. Feminism, reproductive rights, blm, lgbtq, and f trump. That’s literally all it is. This app is designed to be highly political and it brings out the absolute worst side of people. Insanely shallow women.

I just dropped $130 dollars on my subscription, I live in a dead spot apparently near Fruita Colorado. I set my filters, which in my opinion weren’t that strict. Had a total of six compatible matches, don’t waste your time unless you live in a metro area.

Do not recommend. Aside from the numerous pay walls, poor matching, and bots, the absolute worst quality about this app imo is that when you DO finally match with someone, you/they have only 24hrs from that time to respond, otherwise the app removes them/you. How ridiculous is that?? Anything to keep you searching though. $$

Idk what was wrong with my account? I had a normal account and got banned after a day. Nothing hatful or inappropriate on my account so why am I being banned?

Second, it’s a dating app. It fails there too. Not a lot of matches. They canned the last CEO because of it and hasn’t gotten better. When I get a match, there’s a good chance that it’s a crypto real estate match that disappears. Previously, you could tell because of the status. Now the thread just disappear as if it never happened. If you get to a date, the swipe culture follows dating app business model: No instant chemistry and connection? The end. I will go home and swipe more. The relationship I’ve been in for a short time in challenges? The end. I’ll reactivate my account. Makes for revenue for the company and misery for the daters.
Between the failings of the app and dating component, it’s clear my decision to stay off this dating app was a good one.

Im writing this to state this “dating” app is just like the others if not worse, buying premium+ or what ever the hell you call it does nothing but robs me of money again, to show me the most mediocre looking people on the face of the planet!

No refunds - EVER
After I tried the app I realized that it was not for me and canceled my subscription but three months later they still renewed my subscription. They corrected the error but refused to refund my money.

Hello, I love Bumble. It is my favorite dating app. However recently I got incorrectly blocked on the app. I’ve tried to review it and get it appeal but every time the AI chat box keeps indicating that I deserve to be blocked. This is a mistake. Apps like these should have humans that review what actually happened to confirm. They don’t need to continue to be blocked. I’m pretty sad about this. I’ve tried to appeal a couple times with no luck. I wish Bumble would reconsider my block and actually have a human look at it and realize that I was not breaking the guidelines.
Men Beware
I would call myself overall average to above average guy. I have what most would consider a very solid profile, with pics. I’ve been testing for almost 3 months with almost zero luck. You may get a few matches, but they are of much less quality than you would think you deserve.
Then again this is not just a bumble issue. It’s a systemic issue for all dating apps. It’s skewed to the extreme in favor of women. Usually 3+ men for 1 female is on the app.
There has to be some way for the apps like bumble to fix this to at least make it a little more enjoyable for men.
I am crazy confident and have a very high self esteem. However, this has even shook me to the core. It’s downright depressing honestly.
