They will keep your money
Terrible customer service, they don’t give you the ability to explain anything or work with you. They are literally keeping the money I have in my account and will not find a solution to help me withdraw it.

I submitted a appeal and it said I violated the guidelines, and I am unable to make transactions with family and friends anymore. I’ve never done anything “suspicious”

I’m 26 and they locked me out of everything

Cash App smooth stole $72.34 out my account and tried to tell me optimum made that payment attempt multiple times. Then they thought I wasn’t going to contact them regarding my bill. Then refused to refund what they stole from me. Will be closing my account soon
Changes
I had Cash App for many years. Close to 10. No initial issues. Then all of a sudden when I was trying to send money I was informed that I had to verify my account. After sending pictures of my DL, confirming face, SSN I was still told that I was not verified. I will no longer using if I have to jump through hoops just to verify. You would think showing your drivers license would be sufficient.
Older iPhones can’t use the app
If you have an older model iPhone you are locked out of your cash app and can’t access your own money or account. This is ridiculous. So now someone will be forced to to spend hundreds of dollars on a new phone and then what about the money in the account. I just got a new job and can’t receive emails because I can’t pay for my phone storage without my CASHAPP!!!!

I tried to use my card to pay for deposit on business trip stay and my account got flagged. I called to verify that it’s me who made the transaction and yet all the customer service rep can do is tell me that my account has been closed because it violates “terms of service” they never mentioned what specific term just terms of surface as an excuse. To make matters worse, it’s not fully closed like not visible. They say I can withdraw money from it, but I cannot use it because it’s closed. It sounds like a complete scam. They still have my data. They still have an account on file with my information but claim it’s closed. I have been trying my best to appeal the decision to at least reopen it, but I have been given the runaround over and over again. Please read over reviews, especially the critical ones. It’s not all good in Cash App. If you value your money and business, do not use Cash app.

I had my account banned multiple times for ‘fraud’ when I was using my money for everyday things and sending friends money. I even tried to appeal the ban but it got denied. All I needed to do was get the app updated. Stupid reason to get your account banned multiple times. Do something about it because I do trust you guys anymore

Not safe, hacked
The account I have had for years got hacked the other day, the hacker added a card and took my entire available borrow balance. I am completely locked out of my account. I have already contacted customer support and they just sent me an email saying there was no foul play on my account and that I borrowed the money. Customer support is terrible and online banking is not safe, find a local bank that you can walk into and speak to a person face-to-face if you have issues.
Terrible for taxes
I filed with cash app and experienced problems with both federal and state. Now I’m trying to fix it but their app is broken when i try entering my password. I do not recommend.

With the updates being available for only IOS 16 and higher, oldee ios devices cant use the app to check their accounts. There should be no reason CashApp needs IOS 16 or higher, it should still work if you don’t have it because I only have an Air 2 and nothing else.

I haven’t used my cash app in afew months and I tried to use it today when I clicked on it it made me log in I tried and it said this account doesn’t exist or can’t be recovered

I was happy with cash app until my account got hacked and my money was stolen. I tried to reach out to support about a refund or dispute but after all the hassle all they could say was that i authorized it or gave someone authorization. Now i’m out of 290$ and their support won’t refund or dispute it. Horrible support.
Account hacked
My account was accessed while i was sleeping from an unauthorized user. My money that was set to be withdrawn was cancelled and they instantly transferred it to their account and tried to lock me out of my account. Filed a claim with cashapp immediately the next morning and they denied it 2 days later saying I authorized the withdrawal. Useless support does not properly investigate claims. If you r money is stolen you are unlikely to get it back.
Fraudulent
I was defrauded and Cash App has refused to work with the law-enforcement or any district attorney regarding the nonstop, fraudulent activity with the bitcoin, taking down pensions, taking out bank accounts without any remorse. I live on a fixed income so when I got defrauded it destroyed every account attached to Cash App. Every account has been drained of all funds and Cash App has done nothing to protect me from this bitcoin defrauding or work with law enforcement. Be careful out there people. I would never recommend such an app or institution for financial gain specially this one. Because there is no protection from total ruin from Cash App.

Closed account
I’ve had my Cash App account since 2017 it was a great app until I woke up today and found out that my account was closed saying violation of TOS. I haven’t used my Cash App account for anything other than direct deposits & basic transactions. There is no real customer support. No real way to resolve the issue and Cash App has done this to others. Beware leaving to much in your Cash App. Than can and will close your account randomly if their scam algorithm flags you. It’s possible to loose all access to your funds using this app
Don’t use for a legal minor account, just use green dot!
App doesn’t let you create a “minor” account. Can’t move money in or out of the account without their permission which defeats the point. Save yourself he headache and use a better company that does what it claims.

Inexplicably I have a negative balance in my account that I didn’t even think was possible.
Can’t Verify Identity
Was working fine until I got my new debit card. Now the app is saying it can’t verify my identity and it won’t give me access to after pay because of it. Had Cash App for 8 years, not one single time have I ever missed a loan payment.

The sponsorship
All these damn most Cash App had made the sponsorship for teens and I assigned in and I was trying to do my dad and then he didn’t let us say that it was. It was an error and cash app you need to freaking fix your thing for your teens. That’s why I have a freaking Chase account now.
