So inconvenient and when you try to cancel the site to cancel is always down or not available: feels like theft to me.
Garbage Service
I've been a customer with Dashlane for several years. My email was impacted in a breach with AT&T, so in mid-2024 I created a new account and transferred my data over. Since then, I've used their service with no problem until 2 days ago. When my service renewed (which it did just fine in 2025) I was suddenly locked out of my account. The screen said my subscription had expired and I needed to pay. When I tried to pay, it said I'd already paid. Which was true because I pay through Apple, was going to pay a second time just to get access to my data. Couldn't get in, clicked around FOREVER to find their support bot. Bot couldn't help me but refused to pass me to support because I wasn't a "paying member" - I literally was and said that multiple times. When I finally did get to support, they told me a bunch of nonsense, implying the issue was on my end, which was absolutely incorrect. "It was because my real account was the old email," "Apple collected the funds for the wrong account," blah blah blah. I submitted proof that that was not the case. Agent didn't even bother to look at it. Asked for a supervisor. Never got to one. I eventually just got a refund from Apple and after MANY attempts successfully exported my passwords from the account. I was experiencing multiple issues including being logged out over and over again - that was never addressed. I won't be using their service going forward. Their support team doesn't read messages, they do not care that they're handling incredibly sensitive data, and to be treated like that as they increase their subscription fee is unconscionable. I've recommended DL to scores of people and I will never do that again. I even told support that I used this program to house work credentials and I needed help with that - nothing. They do not care about their customers. As is typically, increased prices with slipping quality. I won't be surprised when they go out of business.
I lost EVERYTHING!
I have used Dashlane since 2017 and today the app is stating that all of my login information is incorrect. Now I do not have access to passwords to any personal or business accounts. Customer Service is a chat bot, you cannot speak to a human. I am simply locked out of my account and I’ve lost everything.

Well it created a password for an app, no idea the name it made it under there is no option to sort by when added only modified which apparently does not include its creation. Fix your shhht
