One of the most unimaginative games
Only reason I downloaded this was to see if I could find my account from a few years prior, connected via Facebook.
I was forced to sit through an hour of the most insipid tutorial possible (couldn’t tap anywhere else on the screen but the giant “click here!” that tutorials used to love doing), only to find out that they removed Facebook recovery as an option entirely.
Ultimately a good thing, helped me come to the realization that the gameplay is among the most unimaginative in this age of mobile games. Maybe it used to be something decently enjoyable nearly a decade ago, now I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time with it.

I’m experiencing an issue with Dungeon Hunter 5 on my iPhone. The game crashes every time I try to open it. I’ve tried restarting my device, updating the app and iOS, and even reinstalling the game - but the issue persists.

Latest update crashes on startup every time!
After the last update, the game crashes before it even loads… every time, and for every iOS player I know of, regardless of device, iOS version, or network. Android players are reportedly unaffected.
Gameloft doesn’t even know about this! There’s no way to contact support, because they force you to access support from within the app… which crashes every time. If you send email to support, you get an automated response saying they don’t monitor their email! They have effectively killed this game through negligence, and they clearly don’t care.

It won’t let me get in the game. Like last year this was my fav game and now it won’t even let me get in. Like the game is good but like now, all I see is a black screen when the loading is done. Can you guys fix it? Thanks 😊. Appreciate it.

Based on reviews,I thought this game would be much better than it turned out to be. It takes much too long get better gear which is needed to successfully complete all of the side events. Poor pairing in Stronghold Raids. Also, I cannot connect to the server despite being on my own Wi-Fi high has no issues and all of my devices are otherwise working normally. Very disappointed.
Why would I want an “ally” in “solo” mode??
I hate that they added this: when you choose solo campaign mode (the basic game) you can’t do all the action yourself and your ally will beat all the enemies for you so there’s no real point in even playing the game. Incredibly lame. Especially since this game used to be AMAZING.

Got banned in the first 10 minutes of the game years ago for cheating I don’t even know how to cheat on iOS I’m most likely banned still to this day
Doesn’t transfer over from previous device.
Would give it a 5 star if it gave me my legit account. Wouldn’t sync back with the account I had on my old phone before I upgraded. Now I have to restart even though, I have paid for gems etc. absolutely ridiculous.

Dungeon Hunter 1 and 2 were great stories and exciting game play. I played through 1 twice and long to play it again.
Lost interest in DH3 and 4 and when DH5 first came out it looked promising and since I couldn’t play DH1 again, I figured I’d give it a try.
But DH5 is a confused attempt at online PvP, which I hate, and features with little story and single player engagement that made the first so fun. It made me so angry.

Gamebreaking Glitch
Put age 0 in when they were asking for my age, immediate soft-lock, cant even just close the app and go back in then redo the age thing. But it was permanent, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it, permanent.
Endless tutorials
I gave up and uninstalled after presented with the 3rd tutorial in a row and animations I had to skip and click click click click click click click through. Stop treating users like morons. Not fun.
Locked out if you don’t pay thousands
I used to play this game years ago and it was great with lots of content that was plenty difficult, but only the very endgame content was usually out of reach. Now entire events are so insanely hard that you cannot progress in them without busting out hundreds or thousands of dollars to upgrade your armor. I’m not talking about strategy or gameplay. They literally just make enemies hitpoint sponges with extreme attack to force you to spend money to duplicate and upgrade your armor. Bugs are rampant with many examples. Enemies can enter their invulnerable phases and become stuck in them, not allowing you to do damage. Certain enemies like the mezzogian will either teleport across the map forcing you to run around trying to find it, or out bounds where you can’t reach forcing you to restart. Sometimes the dungeon you’re in may not trigger an event or the next wave of enemies also forcing you to restart. Other times the game just crashes on multiple different devices I’ve tried to play on. I would advise steering clear of this game now.

After 6 years, won’t load
After playing the game for 6 years, and keeping up with updates, my game will not load. I have deleted the game and reinstalled 6 times once on cellular data. Checked the App Store status and have 67 GB free on my 2 year old iPhone SE. I am free to play so maybe the game has booted all free to play players. Bye bye

Used to be amazing
I’ve been playing for years. We saw new gear classes, new dungeons, and the addition of the main show, the Guild War. At first, it was great. There were techniques to learn for using your gear better. There was once a pretty level playing field. Then, the game became more of a money grab. You can play the basic game, but at the higher levels of the guild war competition, it’s a pay (or hack) to play. The same guild wins and will always win guild war, and that’s the guild with the members who know the most exploits and/or pay the most real money for gear and building materials. Then, GameLoft put this game on a further back burner. The lag in just simple tasks like changing your gear or starting a feature is ridiculous. I’m playing on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and when I want to change armor, I tap that button and then wait 20 seconds or more for the game to catch up. The lag really affects gameplay. After you run a higher level mission in Inner Sanctum, it’s not uncommon to find no chest after beating the boss. Often, the game server just fails. The Guild War feature is supposed to be this great global multiplayer competition that happens every weekend. Some guild members play all weekend, some play intensely but in windows of time that fit their lives. The last update removed more Easter Eggs and somehow increased the lag time. It's not uncommon to run missions and find that there is no reward probably because of the lag.

i play fine but every 20min will got crash, but main lobby was so laggy, it take 5s to load when i touch something. I have 15 Pro Max
Fun but at mission 44, you can’t win
Mission 44 will always crash right before you beat the harbinger. You literally cannot win.
Left handed
The game looks fun, but being left handed I can’t see the screen. I wish there was a way to put the controls on the left side of the screen.

Great game but…
This game is awesome like any other gameloft game, there are some bugs but they are underweighted compared to the amount of fun that you get. As a beginner player you are able to get gear easily and stuff that will help you advance but as you move up the ranks and story, you will need to eventually pay to win because it will be nearly impossible to do it otherwise.
Lack of playability
Great game… can’t play several portions so you can’t get most of the materials. Guild requires 10 people to do anything. All joinable guilds have inactive guild masters so you can’t join. If you can join the guild master is inactive so you or can’t do any of the requirements with the guil because it requires the master to initiate. Building your own is useless because you have to have 10 members to get any benefit.
The connection is terrible
