Trying to add photos

I’ve spent 20 minutes just trying to add grave photos but I’ve been thwarted by FG. I’ve never had this much difficulty before. I just gave up.

I haven’t looked at this site in quite a while, and I’m so disappointed that they changed everything. I don’t know the names of the cemeteries so how am I supposed to find where my ancestors are buried?

Somehow ‘Find A Grave’ has become very unusual. It has not become easier to use, but simply awful! Something has happened to this site that is terrible. Please fix it! I know you think you have fixed it but as of today, 23 Nov 2025, it’s just getting worse! Please help.

Recent App update is BUGGY!!!
This app updated over the weekend of Nov 1-2. Now app will not open on my IPhone. Turned phone off & back on, deleted & reinstalled app, no luck. App is indispensable, but only when it works. This needs a fix!
Won’t open
I updated my app on Nov 1st and my app will no longer open. It closes out as soon as it goes to open. I updated it again on Nov 4th and it is still not opening up.
Won’t Open After Update
Just updated the app and now it won’t open. It closes out completely one second after taping on the app. Update from this afternoon seems to have rendered the entire app unusable.

This is the second bad review I’ve had to give, and I’m not happy about it.
In 2023 when my mother passed away, my sister took over her page which shouldn’t be allowed.
Considering I was the one in charge of her page.
Now my father passes away in July of 2025 and he’s a navy veteran and I asked for someone to take a picture and nobody even contacts me. Just total disrespect that nobody could even contact me about it.
My father served our country and this is how we treat our veterans families? Why can’t somebody just send me a picture of his tombstone?
How hard is that?

I’ve had my find a grave account for about 2 months now and they seemed to have not let me log back into my account after they removed me from the app when I apparently “added memorials you recently added for individuals who were killed” from the recent flood and that it is “too soon” for them to be on find a grave when other people have literally posted them too and they haven’t deleted their memorials. I don’t understand what’s so wrong about it. There’s other graves who have burial sites unknown. They also deleted all of the other memorials, including my brother’s memorial (who died 17 years ago) on there. Please change this. Respectfully for now, Julianna.

Very bad will not let you search outside your area.
Difficult to Navigate
Can’t find the cemetery let alone a specific grave.

Selfish “contributors” have ruined
Selfish managers have ruined the site. Support does nothing to help! Managers of memorials are allowed to keep memorials rather than pass management to relatives of the dead. It is very sad.

I don’t understand why I can’t upload my own photos on my grandfather and grandmother‘s memorial sites. When the cemeteries don’t work with my family to make sure that the date of death is on their grave. McClain

Recently, the app stopped working, giving me a system error and asking me to try again later. I can’t look up graves or sign in. It continued to do that for a while so I contacted customer service. When they responded, they said if you’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled it, just use the website. It’s absurd to me that there was no mention of looking into issues or trying to fix the app…just a recommendation to stop using it and use the website instead. So….the developers don’t care? Is that our take away?

This app was working just fine, but its not working anymore it just says ‘Dismiss’ all the time. Ive tryed using my Laptop, Tablet, and phone but it just says ‘Error Dismiss
Limited to what you can do.
I love find a grave and got the app. The thing is, if you want to leave a flower or transfer a memorial, you can’t. You have to open a webpage and go to the website to do those things. Kinda makes the app pointless.

That there is no way on mobile to link graves with my ancestry.com account readily is ridiculous in 2025.
Update: The developer response you see below is a non-response. Ridiculous to have to exit an app built by the same company to use their other.
