Bombed this game with economy updates. I’m broke in real life can I not be broke in this game too
New update is dumb
A latest update has made it so you get 150 coins per flip and and airtime coins was significantly lowered. With that the currency for everything from upgrades has remained the same. Upgrading your vehicle is now really hard. I get it if you guys didn’t want people to play the moon for coins but ask yourselves why did people play the moon in the first place? Cause It was for the coins… now the game has remained the same and now it’s much much much harder to get coins and here’s my recommendation to fix this imbalance in the game. Make it easier to get coins in the other levels. Especially in the beginning of the levels. Nobody wants to grind for a very long time for a big upgrade. Fix because the game isn’t fun anymore. This was a big mistake.

After spending $4 to not see ads, any “bonus” you are offered requires an ad watch

This game used to be amazing, but they recently updated it where you get almost no coins from a run. I think the developers are hoping you watch ads for coins or just pay make in-app purchases for coins or upgrades. Way to make a great game horrible. Another deleted app.

Why did yall have to nerf the amount of coins gained from flips and air time nobody is tryna to pour countless hours into a mobile game to unlock a nicer vehicle and thats not even adding all the coins needed to upgrade the cars either just trying to force micro transactions atp.

The game was balanced around making a certain amount of money for air time and tricks but now you make significantly less money from the moon and from normal gameplay

Finger soft ruined this game
I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid on I think my first gen iPod touch, I loved this game. Then they completely ruin the game by nerfing the amount of coins you get per flip and nerfing the coins you get for airtime. What a joke, the amount of coins you need to get for the maps and cars are extremely high and now you can’t even get them without playing your life away. Complete BS

All the games from my childhood have been updated horribly actually been ruined clash of Royale most definitely worst but this is 2nd place for sure you can’t reset your progress on the game no matter what you do but it resets all your coins and diamonds to litterly 0 😭 they patched all the hacks tou can do for money
Use to be a great game. Update ruined it.
I can’t believe they nerfed the backflip and air time stunt payoffs. It used to be that you would get insane payoffs ($1000) at a time to do flips and whatnot, but now, you only get a fraction of that ($375). This makes the game sooo much more grindy just to get upgrades and a new map, thus turning it from the exciting gameplay it use to be, to a tedious experience.

Airtime coin and flip nerf
I used to love playing this game. I have been playing it since its release, but the developers are trying to kill it now. They say they are “balancing the economy “. That’s an all out lie. It’s been fine for over 10-15 years, and it only now needs to be adjusted? No. They have hcr2 out, and are about to release hcr3. The just want to make hcr1 unplayable so their other games can get some attention.
But why?
I loved playing this game but then they coin nerfed the game so I guess I won’t be playing anymore unless it goes back.

I’ve been playing Hill Climb Racing for over a decade. Across multiple devices, I’ve put countless hours into this game. For years, it was one of the few games I could always come back to and instantly feel that same sense of fun and nostalgia I had as a kid.
What made Hill Climb Racing special wasn’t just the gameplay-it was the fact that it stayed true to itself. In an era where so many mobile games abandoned what made them great in pursuit of more grinding, more monetization, and more frustration, Hill Climb Racing remained one of the rare exceptions. I was genuinely thankful for that.
The driving physics and core gameplay are still great, but the recent economy changes have taken a lot of the enjoyment out of the game. Even before this update, earning coins was already a slow process. It was challenging, but that challenge felt rewarding because every upgrade and vehicle felt earned.
Now it feels like the grind has been increased to the point where it hurts the experience rather than improving it. Saving up for vehicles and upgrades no longer feels exciting-it feels discouraging. Progress that used to take effort now feels almost unattainable without an unreasonable amount of time invested.
What disappoints me most is that I defended this game for years because it stayed true to its roots. In fact, this is one of the very few games I have ever spent money on. I didn’t spend money because I felt pressured to-I spent money because I appreciated the developers for preserving a game that I loved and keeping it enjoyable for so long.
Looking back now, that’s what makes this update hurt so much. Had I known the game would eventually head in this direction, I honestly wouldn’t have spent money on it. I likely would have stopped playing years ago. The trust and goodwill that had been built over more than a decade is what made me willing to support the game financially, and this update has damaged that trust.
I’m still grateful for the memories. I’m grateful for the fun I had as a kid. I’m grateful that the developers stayed true to the original spirit of the game for as long as they did. But that’s also why this is so disappointing. The gameplay is still capable of bringing back those nostalgic memories, yet this update has taken away a major part of what made progression enjoyable.
As someone who has supported and played this game for more than a decade, I’m genuinely saddened by the direction this update has taken. My adult self is disappointed, and my childhood self is heartbroken

Moon level is trash
Motor bike trash destroy the only two good things good about the game good job
Didn’t Save Progress
Fun app but after pausing a game and leaving the tab open. I come back after 3 minutes to find all 11 million of the coins I gained from that run gone. It saved my progress on the map but zeroed out my coins. Now I won’t be able to use that map to make money anymore. :(

Decreased points given for flips and air time. There is an ungodly amount of ads now. And even took away some of the classic vehicles. This game is a far cry from what it was 10 years ago. How did it get worse….

Phone died on run no money but kept distance
My phone literally died on a 17 million gold run 15,000 meters in the desert and the game keeps my score after my phone died but not any of my money? What? How am I supposed to get the level bonus now? Ridiculous. There has got to be away for yall to reset the desert map for me cause that is absolutely ridiculous I thought I would just be able to do the run again but nope. WOW. Literally all the level bonus gone FOREVER almost makes me just want to delete this game.

This has always been a fun game that you could download, grind a couple hours and max out a vehicle. Now good luck even buying a vehicle. This game is a rip off and a waste of my time. You should be ashamed of yourselves to take a gem and turn it into a steaming pile you are the problem with America
Great game, now all about greed
Ridiculous that this game was literally everywhere growing up and now playing it your shoved in the face by micro transactions, ads, and nerfed coin payouts. I remember playing moon with a modded monster truck grinding coins just to max out cars and now you barely make anything from it which is a big slap in the face. It’s a great game/time killer but a major slap in the face to see where it’s at now.
GREEDY
They completely nerfed all coins collected on the moon stage. Only going up 5 coins at a time. Even at the highest jump you’ll never crack 1000 coins for air time. Greedy horrible people that want you to buy coins instead.
