Klarna is not useful as a virtual card.
I have been using Klarna for most of my online purchases. I recently tried adding it to my Apple Wallet. The first time I used it in a physical store, it asked me to verify my identity by scanning my physical ID (government-issued ID or Passport), and it also requested to scan my face. I would understand if this happened once, but it occurred again the second time in the middle of my busy shopping trip. I give it one star for now, as this app can be frustrating, especially when you're in a busy store and are repeatedly asked to verify your identity, even though I am already using Apple Pay with face detection. The other shopping payment app is not like this.

When my debit card had to be shut down for a fraudulent charge, I spent 35 minutes trying to link my bank account and Klarna still couldn’t get it done

Klarna has slowly been taxing us to us the service. Afterpay does not!!! take notes do better!!!
Terrible inconsistent performance
You can’t ever rely on this app for anything. You could have the best credit score, no outstanding payments, doing everything right but you will still get declined on cheap purchases for no apparent reason. They don’t tell you why you aren’t approved it just locks you out and says to try again,(I think this is there way of forcing people to chose the options with APR. Even if you pay off all balances early they do not take that into account only the negatives. Very dishonest app with terrible customer service and the worst approval system ever made.

I had an order from apple that was canceled for 1200, and provided proof from apple but they won’t take loan off my account. Now paying for something I never received even with providing proof.

You all didn’t send me my refund just a portion of it. You’re actually charging me for a defective product that I have told you I wanted to return. You accepted and approved my request, but now are charging me for the same product again. What kind of company are you? I won’t be doing much business with you if you don’t give me my full refund back. I’m very disappointed in your service.

Purchase Power
This app has gotten worse over the years. I make payments on time on my purchases, but instead of being able to keep my purchase power, they keep decreasing it. That is ridiculous and unfair to those of us who use the app responsibly. Klarna used to be one of my favorites, but not anymore. Incredibly disappointed with poor customer support.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & THIEVES
I returned $200 sneakers a month ago and they’ve been giving me problems ever since! I never received a refund so that’s when I reached out to them about my refund! a month later and I still haven’t received my money! I even had to send proof of my receipt (which I did) and they still rejected my return saying it’s not enough proof??? What the hell is going on?! Returning the actual sneakers & a receipt isn’t enough proof?! I’ve been using Klarna so much that I have $4,000 in power.. this is insane.

Scam purchase and Klarna is doing nothing to assist me
Klarna clearly does not vet their businesses that they work with very well. I have been scammed and was charged, and Klarna is doing nothing to assist me on a refund or stopping payments.
