My ten year old thought it was WAY too easy and even on the 7it made her write her own name and she kept on having to and it got to annoying and she was so mad she left the game and she was just watching YouTube channels on help with her reading and it was way better than Duolingo.
Too hard (update)
My daughter, Layla was so excited for this app. I downloaded it for her and when she started, she called and said she needed my help. My daughter has dyslexia so it’s hard for her to read and I don’t think this app supports that. She’s upset and feels like she’s a little kid. 😔 (update) my daughter’s birthday was a week ago and she’s doing really well at the app! The only problem is that sometimes she doesn’t say the words correctly and they still count and not a big fan with some of the stories. About three days ago, she got a bad dream by one of the stories.

I used to love this app, I used to trust this app but now I am utterly disgusted. Those pictures are insane and I hope more parents catch on and shut you down!!! I hate when companies get big because that’s when they become unsafe and unafraid to drop their true pdf file mask… SHAME ON YOU!!! SHAME YOU TO AN INNER HELL FOR ATTACKING THE INNOCENCE OF CHILDREN!!!!

I want to choose what celebrations happen for correct answers because the one where Duo has his little glove thing and goes AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! scares me.

Not for kids. Creepy. Scary.
This app is hot trash. This is not for young kids. I have a 6, and 3 year-old that have been using the app for a few weeks now. Most of the stories are fun and light hearted, but some of the stories are dark and creepy. If you’re a parent, please read a few of the stories. Not age appropriate. Very disappointed in this app being for “kids” to learn how to read. We will be deleting the app. No thank you.

I did one star it was supposed to be -10!!! There is way too many things to go past to reach the end level three and four are useless!!! you do not need them just delete two of them I tell you!!! There’s not even lots of avatars to pick from! It WILL cause a fuss after! There’s only English too!!!And I deleted it DO NOT BUY warning!

This app is so repetitive, repulsive and bad. 1. Ads
Once again, Ads. Those annoying breaks drive me crazy. I deleted it from my iPhone 10 and I completely forgot about it, but I remember its badness.

Horrible audio recognition
Sitting with my daughter doing lessons and the audio recognition is completely useless. There are times when she doesn’t make any sound similar to the word it’s asking her to read and it will say the answer was right and then other times when she reads the word perfectly and it says she was wrong. Once or twice could be understandable but this happens on pretty much every “read this word out loud” exercise. It’s a complete joke.
App has bugs
The app will not hear us when we try to repeat this sentence or words too often and it’s so frustrating to my kiddo they cry. Sometimes it works and they are so proud of themselves but way too often it doesn’t register and makes us repeat it just to have it not work again.
What’s wrong with Level 4
