Bad App
This app simply does not work. I’m always on their VPN but the app says I’m not on a VPN. So is my data secure? I simply don’t know. Ending my subscription.

The latest version of the Norton 360 vpn has rendered my iPad virtually unusable. When I pick up the iPad after a period at rest, the vpn scans the network and hangs at 95%. I can do nothing until it resolves several minutes later. It will also occasionally decide to scan the network while I am actively using my iPad and I can do nothing until it completes. I am on my home network when this happens not using a public network. This is a terrible interruption multiple times a day. Note it always find my home network to be secure but still it scans and rescans multiple times a day.

I thought I was getting a 7 day free trial but instead they tried taking a payment for a year! Had to get a new credit card and now I can’t get any apps on my phone because every time I add a new card they try taking a payment! I’ve reached out to Apple and the app people and no one will remove it! My phone is pretty much useless now!

Purchase rabbit hole
When a problem happens; Norton will point it out but that’s it. If you want a way to fix the problem, you must buy another subscription that’s “can” help with the problem. After you buy the subscription you get a new problem that was listed that the new app could fix but it’s behind another pay wall. Now imagine having more than one problem, it’s like a tree root when getting Norton. This app is the bearer of bad news and gives solutions behind other apps you must pay for or live with it. And even then, that app restrict help with another paywall so you haven’t move out of square one.

I am not enjoying Norton because every time I get a security alert, I either have to pay more to deal with the alert or download an app to read the alert. What is up with that?

Immediately after installing, I can no longer see any photos or content invalid emails that I get. Too much unfiltering to see what I want to see.

Update has wiped out my VPN
With Norton’s latest update to their app they have made my VPN not work. I read the forums and see many others are having the same issue. I have followed the instructions… to remove the app and reinstall, etc. and it doesn’t work. I have used the “Genie” and it doesn’t work. I have emailed tech support. No response. I don’t see myself paying $200 to keep this product. The connectivity keeps dropping and before my VPN quit working it would drop off and I wouldn’t know I was unprotected. I have been searching for an alternative and will switch if Norton can’t get this fixed!

Norton pretends to provide protection, but anytime you do a scan, they alert you of some existential threat and the only way to fix it is to sign up for another service. The prices at first are minor, but then you’ll be paying huge prices for things you don’t really need/want. They pepper you with promotional emails so often that when you actually get an email for a renewal, it’s so lost in the email spam that you don’t even realize that what you were paying $9.99 a year for is now $130. This is a predatory company that preys on the fears of data leaks, and they are not at all helpful. Please be advised.

Frustrating
Ever since I downloaded this app I can’t login to many apps I regularly use. I tried removing Norton from my phone and yet still issues.
VPN Button switch missing????
The vpn worked fine for me and was originally pretty easy to find. But now the VPN switch in the app is not where it originally was. And I can't for the life of me find it. I need it not only turn it off but also switch whatever vpn I'm using in the app. Please put it back, or if it is still in the app, please make it much easier to find. Whatever dumb change you made makes it impossible to find. And because of that I can turn it off or configure it the way I like.

I don’t know how Norton filters things. I get a constant message that I’m disconnected from the internet. That is 10 to 15 times a day. But I’m not! It does other quirky things that changed my iPhone

Norton 360 was once excellent, however after the latest update the VPN doesn’t work correctly. I can no longer pick the location or the country for the VPN. this was a very important part of having the VPN in the first place. Now Norton has removed that access. I will look for a new internet security with VPN that actually works. NORTON IS NOT THAT GOOD ANYMORE.

The VPN on here is complete trash. It’s only bouncing from one area and I have to be the one to move it around. VPNs are supposed to bounce off a multiple signals not just one such a waste of a year long subscription
