Useless
I purchased their $15.99 subscription and the next day upgraded to $28.99. I got a pop up saying I’d be prorated which makes absolute sense. I was never prorated/refunded. I put in a refund request via Apple and they were useless and directed me to Peloton. Peloton were useless and incompetent and directed me to Apple. No one wanted to be responsible. I really enjoyed their classes what a shame
Not good unless you subscribe
Hard to remember how to use the bike with the app when you’re not subscribed so you can still track your rides.
Heart rate monitor never works.
The classes and instructors are great but the app never works with the heart rate monitor on the watch or polar heart rate monitors. Very frustrating.
Careful with their scam
I rented out a peloton and their extremely rude team tried calling to schedule delivery but it was impossible to understand them. They then told me that if I wanted my bike I would have to call somewhere, which obviously I wouldn’t. Worst delivery experience of my life. They never delivered. If I don’t call back they take my cash. Aka a scam!!!!
Fixes needed
Love this app and use it daily, but it needs some fixes. The elevation gain is not tracking, even though all other stats are. I can do an entire hike at incline and the elevation gain at the end says “1”.
Also, the app will connect to my Fitbit for the first walk, but once I finish it disconnects and then will not find it again to connect to even if I’m doing multiple walks in a row. Please fix!

Why
I feel like any workout that gets tracked and synced with the app should count towards daily streaks if you’re recording the info in the app and working out why can’t you keep your daily streaks going?
HATE the new feed
When the feed showed every workout it was my favorite part of the app. With the recent updates where it only shows workouts with achievement badges, it has become completely irrelevant to me. I miss being able to see all of my friends workouts. Also, it makes me feel bad when I work really hard in a workout and get an output that I’m proud of, but because I didn’t get a PR badge it doesn’t show up in the feed and no one can see it. This has been a huge loss for me with the overall Peloton experience.
Overpriced with no way out
This app is fine but the business practices are garbage. I cancelled my subscription almost a year ago now and still have been getting charged $50 a month. I’ve triple checked every app and website and all show no active membership. Help center is basically useless and good luck finding the cancel button.
Social Feed is Buggy
Entire app is great except the social feed that shows all your friends your workout history is buddy and doesn’t work. No way to contact anyone to tell them, only lets you chat with an AI bot that doesn’t understand the problem.
Bring back the feed
The differentiator of Peloton was being a community with my friends and giving/receiving high fives. You took that away. Bring it back. Why hide workouts?
worthless unless you are physically stuck to your peloton product at all times
hey! sometimes i work out without a peloton… go figure. so i naïvely DL and open pelo app , go to “add workout” for my outside bike ride!…. and nope! no can do. really? no simple “feature”to be able to log ANY workouts? m-kay. deleted.
App bugs
- Stop resetting Bookmarks page cursor to top of page. The Bookmarks page cursor keeps resetting to the top of the page when you briefly navigate off. This forces me to have to scroll down to reach the intended class

Bring back old app
I miss seeing my friends workouts on the feed. I don’t know why I just see random ones that contain badges, I don’t care about that - seeing what my friends are up to motivates me to get moving too.
Another half baked update
They have recently pushed a new feature suggesting workouts. Unfortunately those workouts suggest items that aren’t well thought out and unable to provide feedback. The “audio only” run classes do not work indoors as they require a gps rather than picking up Apple Watch motion. The workout routines suggest these as part of your daily class recommendations with no way to change these recommendations or provide feedback that an outdoor run with 2” of snow on the ground isn’t what I’m looking for. Another poorly thought out feature from the product team.
UI Performance not improved
Laggy and unresponsive home screen and class listings are not fixed as of v15.121.1. i suspect this is related to the recent ai insights being added.
Couldn’t pause membership
You can’t do it in the app at all. Charge me $60 for a thing I can’t use, why? I called support and they told me to get lost. I just wanted to pause. Beware.
Used to be great
This app has become trash. I used to be able to see my friends’ workouts in my feed and high five them. Seeing what my friends were doing was motivating me. Now I don’t see anyone’s workouts anymore. And the app pushes you to join groups and leave comments etc. It’s become like a Facebook wanna be.

This is a review of the app, not the content. The app has been horrible the last few months. I’ve used Peloton for over four years and the app has been my daily method of picking my classes. It’s now become almost unusable. I have to use it to find classes (I stack four classes daily) and it’s become a real exercise in patience.
After about 2-3m of using the app, the UI becomes largely unresponsive. Scrolling will pause for many seconds. Taps on the screen don’t register. It’s clearly loading most of the ui elements in the main thread now, blocking all other interactions. The phone gets very hot - clearly it’s being overused for such a simple app.
It didn’t used to be this way. Please revert to your previous codebase. Please use your own app for more than 1m while testing it. I’m on the latest Leo iPhone - this isn’t a hardware issue.

I used to love this app, then it updated and now I hardly interact on here because my feed is no longer showing my friends work outs like it used to . Beyond frustrating
Terrible updates
App is now slow, crashes. They removed the ability to adjust instructors voice level vs music. When it does work, I can barely hear the music because instructs voice is so loud.
New update is terrible
Hate the new update. I love going to my feed and high fiving or cheering on my friends and now I can’t see them unless I go to their profile my feed is just my workouts. I want to see my friends workouts! I also choose workouts based on what they do!
Frustrating to find classes with latest redesign
For an app whose primary purpose is to find classes, it has gotten awful at doing that with the recent updates.
Go to the classes tab (second from the left) and just lightly scroll up or down, and the page will stutter after every 2-3 seconds. After tapping a class, the ensuing popover is unresponsive for the first 2-3 seconds as well.
Is the app even tested on real iPhones? Or only the simulator?
I have an iPhone 16 Pro, and I can’t imagine how poor the performance must be on much older devices.

Do not lease a peloton bike!
I have been trying to get my broken, leased peloton fixed for over three weeks. The third party repair tech keeps cancelling and peloton will not send another repair tech and/or bike.
UI performance is terrible
App used to work great. With the latest update taps do not register reliably, scrolling is erratic at best and customer support has been no help.

Every since the new social update I can’t see what classes my friends take in the feed and made it less social.

Why do they hate programs?

Unusable
I love my Peloton, but the app’s usability has degraded so much over the last few weeks that it is impossible to use it. Please stop using the main thread for all of your networking or loading of content. Content cannot scroll at all and button taps take seconds to register. Please fix this, it is unbearable.
Horrible app
I've been using this app for years without issue and started up again in 2026 and it is impossible to navigate and just easily search so frustrating. I might cancel because they have made it so awful to use
Latest app update introduced glitches
I have been using the app since 2021 and lately ( since January) the app has been slow, takes a while for the touch to be recognized by the UI, sometimes the stack just doesn’t load at all, filtering takes a long time to actually load results. What happened?
Vulgar language at 5AM and immature at every hour
I’m sure the workouts are great if you can get past teachers unnecessarily dropping F bombs and acting years below their ages. If you work the muscles of your body that hard I assume you can work your brain so that you don’t have to revert to language like that. It’s not inspirational. It’s degrading, off- putting and offensive. Totally classless- no pun intended. After selecting content without instructors cussing every 5 minutes… There were hardly any classes left to choose from.
Calendar app issues
Gave the app permission to WRITE to calendar in order to add classes to my schedule for the week

On Apple TV can just go into category & filter. I just want to find a 20 min shadow boxing class on the iPhone app & I have to build my own search!

You cannot filter on mobile app with the update. You can’t select Yoga or Mediation classes - you have to use the search field. TERRIBLE redesign

Every time I go to log my workout while I’m actually at a studio, the app closes out and won’t log my workout!
New updates not great
I love my peloton and all the classes, the 2 star review is for the new updates to the feed. I can longer see the workouts people I follow are completing or high fives. It feels like there should be feed settings somewhere, but I cannot find them at all. There’s some major bugs in the new update that need to be worked out so this can go back to being a 5 star all for me.
Bad App. Not intuitive, difficult to find workouts
I cancelled my subscription today after a week. The workouts are good, but are difficult to find. The app brags about 8000 plus workouts. That may be true if you add the bike and runs, but everything else is week. For instance, if you search “hiit” you will find only a couple hiit workouts and they are buried in a see of cycling workouts that have “hiit” in the title. To confuse things further, the majority of the first page of results are in German. I found out how to turn that off, but the there are even fewer workouts. This is probably a good app if you primarily do cycling. However, it is very poor at anything beyond.
App lags with user clicks
Peloton must have fired developers who can maintain use experiences because the app on both iOS and iPad lags and is extremely slow with user inputs either every filter selected.

Classes are fire. Tiered membership pricing is frankly insulting. There’s a penalty for buying their equipment. Get the app. Skip the hardware.
