Greedy gotcha game as usual
It’s fun for a couple hours but as soon as you complete the main story you have to wait weeks later to gain gems to scout more characters or you can spend way to much money for a slight chance at a character you want. Then events aren’t much fun either as they lack content and useful rewards for anyone in “end game”.
Stupid
I use to like this game but for you to get what you really want they want you to spend a lot of money I’m over that because your chances are super low I refuse to keep putting money in a game that keeps playing me.
Rates are too low for F2P
The rates for pulls are actually too low. If you spend no money, they do give you an alright amount of gems but the rates are so low for featured units that you get maybe a feature every few banners. Everytime I redownload this game for the naustalgia of Pokemon, I start playing then get lucky on first banner I come back to, then the consecute 5 banners they drop I won’t get a single feature and pull only old units. Rates are so punishing for the amount of time set towards getting gems that it ruins the game playing life for me.
App won’t open
I usually love this app but it’s not opening for me as of today. Opening the app sends me to the store for an update, but there’s no update prompt available on the store, only ‘open’ which then sends me back to the store. Please fix

Doesn’t work
I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max running iOS 26.4 and the game will not run. I’ve reinstalled it and have followed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps in the app and it just will not start. Hopefully this can be addressed, if it is, I’ll revisit my score.

Game tells me I have A 600mb install to do gets to 20% then resets several times then gives me an error why does it do this? What can I do to fix this and play again
greedy greedy boy
after the first story arc (PML) they barely give you any free gems as rewards anymore, most certainly not enough to do sync pair pulls. but the paid gems are over $20 just for 4k! 10-11 sync pair pulls for upwards of $25! on a mobile game! and you arent even guaranteed to get any good ones! you could spend $200 just to not get the character you want, which is absolutely absurd levels of greed for a game of this quality (which is not great). i dont even know who’s spending money on that BS, because it’s absolutely ridiculous and biblical levels of greed.
save data erased
i came back to the game after a while and all my save data was completely erased, ik for a fact my accounts were linked before leaving the game but when i came back it said it had no data related to it, i lost everything i put into the game and i do not care for it any longer idk why it would do this but i give up

Still getting tutorial bug
So I downloaded this app hoping to be a break from the kinds of games I normally play; but I wanted to check the reviews first. And more than 90% of reviews (that are not 5-star bot oriented) are all talking about the game freezing after the tutorial. I expected to be a lucky one who could break through this bug, but nope. Still getting it after weeks of trying.
It’s a very big shame that since the launch of the Switch 2, Nintendo has been prioritizing actual profit gain, instead of actually making their games playable. And they wonder why their sales are down so much…
NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS. This glitch will never get fixed knowing Nintendo. Go play something like Dx2. At least that game actually WORKS.

The paid gems never get you much you get more stuff from the free gems you get and thats rare. I used to like this game and spend money. When i would spend $25 i would almost always get the character now you can literally spend $80 on 5 multi pulls just to get nothing. Then the biggest joke is the 400 sync pulls to get the character!? Like seriously i supposed to pull 400 times just to get the character!? Thats unimaginable greed. Shame on you guys for ruining a good Pokemon game. If i could id give it zero stars for greedy.

After the mc appear with pikachu in front of the nurse joy place, the game switches to the loading screen and never stop loading. I've waited a while for it to finish but still nothing.

It’s been 4 days since the bug was out and a day since an official announcement acknowledging the bug. We need more communication. This isn’t a small bug but a game breaking bug that softlocks new players. Please fix your game ASAP.

I have not been able to log in at all as a new player, it is stuck on a permanent loading screen no matter what. The fact this has not been fixed for days when it’s such a big update is baffling.

iPhone bug can’t play
I would love to be able to play this game. I see my fiancé playing it all the time and he’s the one that told me to download it so we can play together. I have tried it on three different iPhones just to see if maybe it was just my phone that had the glitch but unfortunately it doesn’t work on any iPhone. You can get through the tutorial. Make your character you can even sign into your Nintendo account through the main loading screen but after the tutorial when you get to the main hall where nurse Joy is the game just freezes there. You can type the screen and it looks like it gets response. You can even see nurse Joy, blinking, but it won’t move from there. I’ve left it alone for almost an hour before just to see and nothing. I tried this on my old iPhone 11 Pro, my nieces iPhone 13 and my iPhone 14 Pro Max. When looking online I see that this is a common error. I’m just surprised it hasn’t been fixed yet with all the updates that have come out on both iPhone and the game It’s really sad. I would really love to play it because the few times that I’ve played it on my fiancé phone (an Android) it was fun,It just sucks that we can download it on iPhone but it just doesn’t work. :/

Just freezes at nurse joy after the tutorial. I’ve tried every method people have told me. Ridiculous to have your biggest update and marketing push of the year and you couldn’t even make sure new players could actually play the game. Been trying for 4 days. Game Has Been Bugged for Days
I’ve been trying to play since the start of the anniversary event and I keep on getting stuck at the Pokemon Center.

I do not want to hate on the developers because I know they’re working very hard but as soon as I finish the tutorial with blue, I get stuck looking at nurse Joy. I’ve tried everything restarting the game. But it doesn’t work. I hope it can be fixed and I can make an updated review that will be much higher.
