Delete and control
Literally it’s a bunch of nerds in their own little club that delete and control their own version of events. It’s a joke of an app where trolls hide without photos and comment like they went to Yale University
Bot infested
Full of bots and paid actors
Every update breaks something
Stop changing my place when the phone locks! If I mute something I never want to see it again. STOP PUTTING PAGES BACK AFTER I MUTE THEM!!!!!!!!!!
Cyberstalking

Let me use my browser
App is fine. What I don't like is being forced to use it when all I want is a quick answer through a web browser and not another app on my phone. Anti-consumer and frankly ridiculous.
Mobile
Stop recommending the app and a stupid note. Bad app!
Reddit has changed
Really strange propaganda issues on this platform, mostly targeting Jews, extremely discouraging that they appear to have no interest in tackling this.
Reviews are lies
Every update makes the app worse and worse. Bring back third party apps! This one is horrible.
They just removed markdown editing for comments in the most recent update and the ads keeps getting more and more frequent.
I don’t believe that these 4 and 5 star reviews are honest, they’re clearly bought and paid for.

Broken
Terrible app. All the functionality on my account is gone. Deleting and reinstalling didn’t help. Neither did updating the app. The website won’t allow me to submit a help request. A ‘new’ account was accidentally created and now overlays the old one, which I can no longer access. The app is also invisible on my phone - doesn’t appear anywhere, even in the Hidden App folder.
Really?
My favorite part about this app is how it’s more than 5+ year old, and they STILL can’t get the video player to work reliably
Reddit is dead - total censorship
Reddit used to be a place to discuss news openly. Not anymore. They now control the narrative and any deviation from what they want results in immediate auto bans. It’s the most authoritarian social media site Ive seen in regards to censorship. It’s nothing but bots, ads promoting Roundup, propaganda, and AI slop. Reddit is absolutely unusable now. Total trash. Shame on them for destroying a once great public forum.
Screen Blocking Popups
Reddit keeps blocking me from using the site and forcing me into the app.
Stop forcing me off my browser
Absolute money grubbing BS. I don’t want to use your app. Stop blocking my web browser view. It won’t even open the thread I was on in the app I have downloaded, I have to manually click into the app and find the thread I was on. Sometimes I just need answers from a quick google search and Reddit is the first thing that pops up. Absolutely out of touch.
Used to be a diverse community ~10 yrs ago
Some day you will realize Reddit is full of censorship compared to X
Terrible App
They’re trying to force this spyware app on mobile users. I’ll be looking for alternatives to reddit instead.
Mods ruin the experience
If you comment anything at all eventually you will find a power hungry mod in one of your subreddits and they will ban you. Theres nothing you can do, recommend to not use app unless you plan to never comment on anything or post - but then what’s the point? *deleted* // dm me + unban me and I’ll change the review.
The End of an Era
Went to do some daily scrolling, couldn’t find r/all. Apparently after doing some research, they decided to get rid of it in favor of a more “personalized” experience. I can’t speak for everyone, but I can say a massive amount of its users relied on r/all to keep up with daily happenings, discover communities, and enjoy something outside the box of “personalization”, including me. Without r/all I effectively have no use for Reddit. Great job guys, you’ve proved once again that yes, Reddit can fall even further than it ever has before.
🐷🐷🐷
Can’t use browser version anymore, there’s now a banner to download the app that won’t go away, just like instagram. Bummer. Gotta feed the data pig.
No thanks
They’re trying to force people into this app. Pro tip for iPhone users: toggle “request desktop settings” in Safari for this site and you won’t get that message anymore.
And bring back r/all. Been using Reddit less and less since they took that away. Popular is algorithmic garbage.

AS A USER I SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE IF I WANT USE YOUR STUPID APP OR MY BROWSER
Can’t use my browser why
Bad
It’s a bad app
I don’t want your app
Their damn website now pops up a “Download the App” ad that covers the content and won’t go away, even when I already have the app and don’t want to use it at the moment.
0/5. Idiotic design in their web team’s part.

Features come and go
Features come and go. User satisfaction is low on the priority list. Reddit as a forum is astroturfed like a white high school. It’s where critical thinking goes to die and the funeral is hosted by visa/Mastercard
Auto refresh is horrible
One star and will always be one star until the get rid of the auto refresh. Literally no one wants it.
STOP FORCING ME TO USE YOUR APP
I hate when I look at Reddit on my browser and I get “get the app to keep using Reddit”
Update sucks
New update sucks I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling to get my home page to not be black what’s the deal don’t release it until you know it works junk app.
Forces you to use the app instead of in browser web
App doesn’t load pages all the time, it’s a hassle and I just prefer to use the web for quick easy access.
It’s bad.
Compared to its competitors that it’s essentially bullying out of business, it’s terrible. At least if you’re going to curb stomp your competitors, steal their designs. GUI is bad, very few shortcuts, browsing tedious.
Update: they keep changing the entire UI of the app randomly without warning, then reverting it. It’s infuriating.

Give me back plaintext markdown comment box!
I don’t want to use your mediocre, half-baked richtext edit box, Reddit. I want the plaintext edit box and I’m to use the formatting methods that I’ve been using for the last decade on your website.
Give back the plaintext markdown edit box!
Give back the plaintext markdown edit box!
app doesn’t work
The app doesn’t even work and it’s now mandatory to use. Please go back to the browser version.
Terrible App Experience.
App is buggy, often freezing and requiring a forced shut down. Now they’re pushing this poorly designed app by not allowing Reddit in a mobile browser anymore. Truly sad to see how the experience has fallen in quality. Will not be using anymore
Got banned Reddit-wide for commenting in 1 sub I forgot I was banned from!
Literally got permanently banned site wide and can’t log in to appeal! I forgot I was banned from a subreddit so I wasn’t evading the rules on purpose. Now I can’t use Reddit at all. That’s extremely unfair and excessive. Clearly Reddit doesn’t care about its users. I’ll be spreading this accurate review everywhere I can. Save your time and scroll somewhere :(
Give people a warning or reminder first, Reddit!!
Give people a warning or reminder first, Reddit!!
Mods discriminate
They ban certain opinions and push dangerous “trendy” scenarios that most normal people would find disturbing. There is a clear indicator that the people who run this app are twisted and unfair. The mods say they don’t condone violence which is fine, but when there is no violence involved, they will take it upon themselves to “label” even remotely non-violent comments, as violent. Very strange and overtly discriminatory.
Worst app campaign ever
The company has decided mobile users can’t use the website and harassed other mobile app competitors.
One star, let me use my browser for Reddit again.
One star, let me use my browser for Reddit again.
Terrible
App is bad and they won’t let you use reddit on safari
How far you’ve fallen
Forcing an app for a website that used to call itself “the front page of the internet”.
Strange?
Bruh i cant comment or dm or post like whats the point of the app if i cant use it.
No, I will not use your app
Reddit is a WEBSITE. I find results for it with Google. On the internet. Stop demanding I download the app
Forced to use app
Forces to use this app because Reddit suck on web browser with the unskipable app download ad. Also it does not work when I download it
Forced to download
Forced me to get this app!!! Why yall so thirsty
Latest update is bad
Most recent version removed ability to access r/all, which destroys the experience for me
Deceitful app
This app steals user data, lies to users about how it’s sold to advertisers, and supports the worst elements of Bad Tech.
This is ridiculous
Reddit is a website I should not be forced to download there app to see things on the web. This is predatory and only used so Reddit can sell my data. The app is horrible and I just want to be able to see basic answers when I google something not be forced into a download.
Terrible
Terrible
Slap-in-the-face Update
As a redditor for years, bricking your mobile website isn’t a way to keep the app downloaded on my phone. Consider it- and my account, deleted.
Allowing bot accounts
Honestly the total invasion of this platform by bots has made it unusable. If you don’t know reddit has allowed millions of bots to reply to posts. They seem semantically similar to real human replies but they are often adversarial.
Deleted. Ruined trending category
Used to tell you what’s going on in the world. Now it tells you what someone said 10 months ago. Useless now
Experiments on users
Pray you never get placed into one of their experimental groups because they will completely break your experience and there is no way to remove yourself or request that you not be made to participate in the future. Also they are participating with the government for political persecution. Beware.
People so mean in this app.
They made me cry
