New features are not user friendly
Reddit has taken a nose dive in quality these last few months. My two major gripes are as follows:
1. Started showing subreddits I am not subbed to in the default home page. Subreddits should be what curate my feed not algorithmic recommendations
2. Reddit mobile browser is no longer useable and forces you to the app or locks you in an un-closable pop-up

Forced app download to use the mobile site
Dog trash app that makes some posts unreadable they force you to download this garbage after 30 seconds on the mobile website
Forced to get this
Way to purposely make the web version buggy just to force people to download the app so you can collect/sell data.
Garbage Feed changes
Why has the feed been changed to exclusively show low engagement or new posts instead of the popular posts? Change it back you AI-slop pilled ghouls
Worst app ever
Worst ever
Just sad
It’s an app full of keyboard heroes who think they make a difference in the world by creating nothing but AI slop and misinformation.
No FREE SPEECH
Reddit only accepts leftwing communist pedophilia trans lgbtqtard agenda ideas and commentary. Free Speech is not allowed, and you will be punished for any normal non-propaganda enforcing posts. Pathetic.
Online
I shouldn’t have to download the app just to read an article. Make your websites accessible again
Forced app usage
Reddit’s forced app download for mobile browsing is aggressive and ridiculous
Annoying mandatory download
Let people who don't want to download this app use it on browser!
Bring back all
Algorithms suck
Agressive Promotion of the app sucks
I love Reddit, but it’s literally insane how there is NO « x » button on the modal that you guys show on Reddit website. After the pop up appears, it’s impossible to see the data on the website. There should always be a choice!! Not a good way to treat your users.
Refresh frustration
Stupid update now the app refreshes automatically with no way to turn it off. I want to keep my place, not have it refresh and go to the top…
Forced app download
Yall keep doing the pop to force me to download your lame app on mobile website.
broken
claims there is no internet connection even tho it's connected to the internet
I don’t want your stupid app
It was cool how I could just use the mobile site to browse but they’ve made it unusable in effort to force you to download their stupid app. I’m just not going to use reddit anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
App doesn’t work
The app does not load Reddit posts on my phone, and now Reddit is forcing usage by disabling access to the mobile site. Very annoying!
Auto refresh ruining the app
Please turn off the auto refresh. I don’t want the articles I’m in the middle of scrolling through, but have to switch to a different app for something else, disappear when I come back! It’s awful UI and makes me use Reddit less now.
Terrible UI
The UI gets a little worse every update
Auto refresh has ruined this app
I can’t even swipe away a notification from a DIFFERENT APP without the Reddit app refreshing and I lose my place. It’s INFURIATING and makes the app basically unusable
Hooray for propaganda!
Proof of Dead Internet Theory. Have fun engaging with slop bots.
Frustrated
BIG FAT ONE STAR. Do not appreciate being forced to download an app because a web page on my phone won’t let me read it without downloading the app. Really like why you gotta do this to us. Let me scroll on safari and read a random Reddit page
Stop forcing me to get app
i want to use reddit on my browser but now i can’t
Auto-Refresh Hell
I can’t believe I’m paying for a subscription to an app that auto-refreshes after a few minutes or if Iswitch to another app. It’s such a simple fix, and it would be better user design to keep it static. Clearly, they want people to see more ads. But I’m paying extra to avoid the ads, and I still have to deal with this. Sigh.
Terrible ui and app support
I still don’t understand how they couldn’t put the app together in 10 years.
Idiot Devs
Like genuinely how much of a moron do you have to be to make it impossible to delete an account because of your technical ineptitude. I swear to God the devs are not only corporate sellouts, but also complete idiots.
98% useless
The website is one thing. This app is genuine garbage. Honestly. At times, it becomes entirely dysfunctional. I can get just as much value from looking through the first three pages of a comic book, found in a gutter after being ripped out and used as a toilet paper substitute. The developers of this app should be embarrassed of their work.
Blocking Browser on Phones Now? Really?
I don't use the Reddit app on my phone. I have no need to. The app is already frustrating to use on my iPad, while the browser version works just fine. But Reddit has apparently decided that every phone user MUST download their app, and they enforce this by throwing a pop up to download the app, which cannot be closed or dismissed, except by refreshing the tab. This is incredibly predatory, and actively makes me want to use Reddit LESS.
I don’t want your app
I will never install this stop shoving it down my throat
Annoyance
Can you stop giving me notifications from subreddits i’m not in…
I’m not in them because, I don’t care.
It’s not gonna make me open the app infact i’m this close to just deleting it. Do you know how annoying it is to look at my phone notifications only to see r/transfetishcontent r/illgiveyousomemoney
????
I’m in video game and show subreddits why would I ever be interested in those two other things.
The money one could from ads I suppose but I don’t think I’ve even seen a trans post on my timeline. And it’s not the fact that it’s even a transgender person it’s the fact it’s so clearly fetish content. If I see the phrase transgender teen one more time i’m gonna flip.
Also subreddits of my location and general area I suppose it is my fault because I did look in there once just to see but I didn’t join it and Ive since muted all those subs and yet they just keep coming in
I do not care what’s going on on “Street Road”
My point is you should only give people notifications of the subreddits their in, i’m in many active subreddits so i don’t see why half of the ones I get from this app have to money scams.
It goes without saying notifications should be something a person will be interested in, so if they’re not in that sub what do you think that means ???

Forced off of mobile webpage
“Download the app to keep browsing Reddit”
Corporate greed is sickening.

Wish we could download GIF images like normal
That is all
They allow illegal activity🚨 WARNING‼️
A moderator on a Reddit sub used my private information to harass me and attempt to Dox me. I have reported it to the police. When I reported it to “Reddit help” the next thing I know my account was banned. These moderators are clearly a threat and do not know what they’re doing. I know it’s an unskilled job but maybe there should be some training involved. I am in the process of talking to an attorney to see if I have any legal recourse for civil lawsuit.
Not to mention the website allows other illegal activity, but not limited to extortion, minor under age ( they don’t use any verification method that a minor can’t simply just lie on)and numerous other violations of the law. I have screen shots and reported to
NCMEC CyberTipline, ic3.gov and tips.fbi.gov

Stop forcing me to use this janky app
Please stop, Reddit is a website let it be used as a website. Stop forcing people to use the app and block the content on purpose.
