Please. Im begging you. One thing I absolutely hate about some of these mobile games is the need for energy just to do anything. Enough! Aging a way to make money off of us in a different way. Like an exclusive world or an exclusive character. Last night I played for the first time. I’ve been depressed and it actually brought some light and joy into my life. Only to suddenly be stopped by needing energy? To post? Please stop it devs.

There are no new ways to earn energy might as well delete the app after you’re done.

Money hungry, the ads don’t work. They say you need to watch two ads for ONE energy then make you watch ten and don’t give you anything because you “didn’t complete the ad” even if you did. Their prices are also ridiculous imo.

5 Energy is way too low

Good be funner but not enough engagement unless you pay for it.

When i got it first i had like a lot of energy for free but now you only get 5 and that make it so you play for 5 minutes and you have to wait a whole day to play again.

It’s an incredibly immersive app, but the paywall stuff has got to go. Ads are fine but also it’s a social media app. Just put the ads in the fake social media. Amazing characters and everything though! But yeah paywall and lack of energy are a no for me.

This app is super fun to use WHEN IT WANTS TO WORK I literally haven’t been able to use it in like three or four days cause it just is stuck on a black screen saying status 😭 it also takes me a few tries to even open the app and it also bugs out and exits the app for meWHILE IM WRITING A VERY DETAILED SCENE 😭😭😭

This review is not to hate on the app, but to serve as warning towards new users that read the reviews.
Starting off strong, the app is basically pay-to-play. I know, it’s probably not obvious but it is. I’ve been a user since November 2024, when you still needed a code to access the app. These codes came from the discord, which I recommend joining because app information is posted there by the developers, moderators, and other users.*
Regarding the lack of energy, it will most likely never become unlimited. The app was apparently running at loss, meaning the bill that the devs are given each month was way too much for the app to continue to be free. After February 12, new users receive the standard five energy but you will not get it refilled. Only way to get more energy is by watching ads, paying for a subscription, or this other thing they’ve introduced (like an in game currency) where you can buy coffee. Coffee gives you more energy, 8 bars to be exact. Unless you to do any of what I listed above, you really can’t play the app.
I know this most likely won’t be seen as I made my original review nearly two years ago to get energy myself but I hope it is. I hate new users coming in blindsided because of the turn the app has gone. Unless the ai model the apps runs on becomes cheaper or another like it appears that is cheaper, the app will most likely remain how it is. If you don’t mind paying for the app, I hope you enjoy it. I used to before everything changed!
