Tournament Matchups Are Horrendous
The matchmaking in tournaments has to be the worst I’ve seen in any game. The card levels of my opponents were so much higher I had ZERO chance of even touching the ball when they hit it. Do better. It’s reasons like this why people quit games; when winning is based on card level and zero skill.
Cash grab app
They charge for absolutely everything and nothing for cheap. If you pay to play, you always win. If you don’t like to spend real money on stupid freemium games, you will lose against those with mommy’s credit card info. The “deals” they are insanely scummy and they always are forced to pop up.

Great game, but my profile only loads on my iPad, it’s tries to load but never does on my iPhone so canceling the subscription.

I had to pay $75 just to start playing this game again because there was a mixup with paying for gems. The app never helped me and I sent 5 emails. I’m exhausted and was -60k and had to buy my way out of it :(

All they want is your money
Game is horrible. You’re mostly playing AI and they already have a system to make you spend money. For example, I’ve played against “people” who’s forehand rating is 54 and mine is 70 and their agility is 50 and mine is 60 and they are still able to generate more power and placement than my character can. There are also times when my opponent should crush me because of their rating, strength and every other ability is 5-10 points higher than mine but I end up shutting them out. And I happen to lose all my rackets and have to buy more rackets when I’m 2-3 points away from finishing a task.
This game makes you just spend and buy. I just got tried of it and deleted it. It’s not fun when you really have minimal control over winning or losing. You’re just part of the program.

Persistent bad connection
Love the game except for the persistent bad connection issue. Even sitting beside a router doesn't make any difference. It's very annoying and honestly makes me want to uninstall right away.
Impossible progression
Ranking up requires at least four hours of gameplay every day or something becaue this is impossible to do just casual. Unless you pour your soul or your money you can’t buy upgrades you can’t rank up to make money to buy upgrades and I’m not even sure how you actually get player cards because after the tutorial gave me some I literally have not gotten more. This game is impossible to do anything other than waste time and lose to players who grind or spend money

Connection issues lately
Over the past 6 months, I have experienced terrible connection issues on my iPad. During gameplay, as soon as I return a shot, everything lags out, and I automatically lose the point. I have excellent internet, and all other games and apps work perfectly fine. I’m wondering if this is some form of cheating, either way it is extremely frustrating. I have looked into possible reasons to see if it is coming from my end, and everything seems fine. It’s not very fun to play when I can’t return any shots.

Was a great game to play (even though you can only get to a certain point then only way to win is to spend money to be able to compete), however, with last updates, I cannot get game to work…I just continually get unable to connect to server. Ridiculous!

Your “signal” will get weak for no reason and will allow the opponent to win. Do not buy gems. Once you have them and try to get a refund because the game is so bad, they will put you in a negative balance of gems double that which you bought and you cannot play when you have negative gems. You will lose all your advancements and have to delete account or buy even more gems. This game is for su kets.
Fun game TOTAL MONEY GRAB
The game is actually fun but right out of the gate it’s difficult to advance without spending A LOT of money! Organic rewards are VERY slow. I don’t mind to spend money but I refuse to when right out of the gate the pressure is on to get into my wallet. The standard card collection takes ages to get you anywhere so unless you spend upwards of $1000 all you get is others that beat you 7-0 or 7-1 all the time. Game is fun until you rank up once you do you will be competing in the pay-to-win servers with peoples stats being double yours. Have fun in the first league as long as you can cause the game is unplayable after that! Haven’t got one opponent with even close to my players skill set after rookie 1. If the developers of the game doesn’t change something soon all they will have is people in rookie 1 playing and then quitting after it gets hard, the next set of players will just be the people throwing money at this game.

If you pay real money you can stroke your ego and feel like you’re actually good at something, but actually ppl have all sorts of cheats. Ball’s just stop in mid air giving your cheater of an opponent time to return. Then the return is shot at 250mph. So you already know before match begins whether you’ll win or lose.

The game has potential but only really works well if you’re willing to spend tons of money upgrading constantly. Otherwise, you can be playing great one minute and the next your player will be running like a turtle, hitting lobs each time, and all of your skills will be lowered. You can be Wimbledon level one second and elementary school the next. It’s highly inconsistent how the app reacts to swipes. It is 100% not based on actual skill of the user. The algorithm is volatile in how it allows the user to play and control their character. Not worth the rise in blood pressure to play. 🤬

I grinded on this app and it was fun up until I was forced to play people that are dang near maxed out on upgrades. And you matchup with them again and again and again.

Playing this game for a couple of years now, but I think I’m done. I understand that these games require money for advancement however after spending $80 I feel like I need to invest more and I won’t.

Bad
For starters, it is nothing like it’s typically advertised. The mechanics are not the greatest and probably only 25% of the gameplay is based on skill (I’ll get to why). It’s usually advertised with the normal sets but each match is only 7 points, and the mechanics are nothing like they appear on ads, so instead of gameplay which is advertised as looking like real pro tennis, you’re left with play that isn’t enjoyable at all.
Now for the reason. The character ability is based on cards that are collected. But the reality is the only way to get the ones you need to compete competitively is to pay for them. Therefore the players who pay the most are the players who win. The people who have collected the highest abilities will always win the match, which makes the game not dependent on actual skill, tactics, or competition at all. In theory could you wait it out, collect more coins and painfully upgrade your character to stand a chance. Yes, but it wouldn’t change the lack of competition/skill required for the game, and even then you’re not guaranteed the cards you need. Very rare to have a rally lasting longer than 5 shots with most at about 3.
If you make a shot off the court, the entire court isn’t even in view so you can’t even make your character recover to the middle of the court.
Lastly, with the graphics and set up, the game has great potential to improve this (which is the only reason I have a 2nd star). If these things were changed it could be really a competitive game and I would recommend a career mode to play in tournaments, not just tours against other players.

Fees eventually get crazy
Very fun game, but becomes impossible for newer players to win at highest level without paying thousands of dollars. 1500 cards to take an epic or player from level 12 to 15. 20 characters and 10 epics to be competitive on Grand Tour is 45,000 cards. Store sells cards for at best $1/card !WOW!. Free play would require at least 90,000 wins which would take 4 years of 2 hour days and still need $5,000 in bag unlock fees. Most efficient is 3,000 Super Bullseyes which would still cost $4,500 and be boring as …

Constant bombardment with ads for new attributes and/pr equipment to beat other players. Seems like no matter how long you play for free, your selected character almost never is provided bonus points to develop further.

All About Purchasing Stats
As the title of my review says it all. If you purchase boosters, gems, and packs to improve your stats you win any game. You could literally have better accuracy of swipes compared to your opponent but if you lose out on stats then you’re done for.
