Moveable joysticks
The control on mobile sucks when you have moveable joysticks.. you try moving right and your joystick ends up on the other side of the screen.. it’s hard to play without a Bluetooth controller and mine is broken.. makes the game unplayable because I can’t shoot or move how I want to.. almost like a waste of money if this never gets fixed.. there should be an option of locked down joysticks or moveable joysticks because you literally have to focus on barely moving if you want precise movements.. takes away from the intensity of the game.. an option to change the size of the joysticks would even help.. and it surprises me this wasn’t addressed before releasing the game.. like did everyone just play with controllers..? Kinda takes away from it being a mobile game aswell..

Genuinely laziest game I’ve ever played
Absolute horrible mobile controls, the bosses just spawn already existing enemies, and the game doesn’t even let you move half the time. You’d have to be dumb to waste your money on this.
I love the TBOI I’ve bought it on 5 systems, this is the absolute worst version of the game!
The controls are so bad if you don’t have a controller don’t bother. If you have it on another system don’t bother. There is no point in buying it if I have to bring a controller with you everywhere you go. If you have a switch or steam deck just bring that instead.

Can’t progress
Don’t buy the mobile version pf this game, it’s great but it regularly resets random things. Multiple times now i have lost weeks worth of progress because of this and it ruins the experience entirely.
Game doesn’t save
I love this game, I have it on my computer as well, but this version always deletes itself, idk why. It’s always so frustrating

App Crashes
I just bought the app and it opens showing a white screen then crashes. I’m not sure if me being in Lockdown Mode on my iPhone 14 is affecting it, but this is completely unacceptable for a $15 app.
Bad joystick
Turning on fixed position for the touch screen joy stick genuinely does nothing which makes the controls frustrating. Game is a classic tho I love it on my computer

The touch screen controls are game-ruiningly bad. It’s cliche, but they are “did they ever play the game?” bad.

Control is very glitchy
Sometimes Isaac won’t move and you have to lift both fingers up to be able to gain control again. Making it unplayable when you’re fighting challenge rooms. I love this game but if I knew this, I would not have bought the game on my phone. I have it for All platforms because I think it’s a fun game. But for phone big no for me.
No lockable Controls

Way overpriced
For a 10 year old game $15 for just the base game is outrageous. Some of the DLCs are more expensive than the base game. Not worth the price at all.

Huge fan of the series, bought it on steam, on switch, full version each time. Now I discover that the smartphone version is as expensive as those other versions. I love tboi and have played since the original game in pc. Having no it on my phone is amazing except for a some seriously glaring issues with the port. Firstly there needs to be an option for static touchscreen controls. Having the controls move as you input make movement and aiming way more difficult for no reason at all. But to me the most glaring issue is with how bad the saves are. Earlier today I lost THREE DAYS worth of progress including three character unlocks and a bunch of completions on lost and tainted lost. Game Center knows I did this because it have the achievement for the completions but the game just forgot all my progress. I love this game but when I lose hours worth of progress is makes me want to stop playing and since this is a full price game I expect better controls and better saves.
No fixed joystick option
Without the option for a fixed joystick, playing without a controller or keyboard is basically impossible
Needs work
Have dozens of hours on PS5. iPad version is not great due to the controls. First off, the trinket location gets in the way of movement controls. If your thumb gets near the trinket, you will stop moving. Second, it feels like the character is on ice skates. No precision control.

Binding of Isaac is a great game by itself with hundreds of content to dive into. But the controls for the game is terrible. I think the blame is in the porting company Nicalis, they have a pretty bad reputation.
Fun game, WORST MOVEMENT
The virtual joystick wont move half the time, yall should have it to where everytime i lift my thumb off the screen the joystick goes away and reappears wherever i place my thumb, not this weird thing where if you lift your finger the joystick stays in place and messes up your movement. It almost makes the game unplayable
Optimization
I think this might be a long shot but I just got the game and been having problems with the controls, trinket keeps blocking me from being able to more and the floating joysticks make it harder to move/shoot is there any plans to let us customize the hud? Also I thought it would be the whole game I'd be buying but then I saw that inorder to get the full game you have to pay double what you paid at first:/ , challenge rooms also don't give you a charge for each wave on active item.

Half the time it doesn’t register your finger is moving so you’re just stuck there for like 3 secs and it gets you killed a lot of times

Controls limit the game’s diverse playability
I have almost a thousand hours in binding of isaac on PC, so taking it everywhere is a perfect opportunity, but the moving joystick makes it impossible to play especially while on any sort of transportation. The ability to connect a controller helps this, but the standalone should have a joystick lock setting so that it stays in place when it appears. If you have to have external hardware to make the movement viable then it’s not a great system.
Needs better touch control
Getting Isaac to walk in a straight line is harder than it should be. Button options or some sliders for sensitivity would be helpful.
Amazing game, progress won’t save
Ive had it for a while, and no progress I make saves.
Lack luster
Look the binding of Issac itself is a great game. This gets 2 stars for reasons I’ll just summarize. We are paying 60$ to get the full game for a much weaker version of Isaac. At this price point I can’t justify going above 2 stars as the iOS version of Issac seems like this games development team barley maintain this game.. the lack of updates and content always taking so long to arrive. 60$ is just insane for me..
I keep losing progress
I love the game i really do! But once i log back into the game i have to get blue baby again and also some achievements as well i had beaten dark room with issac to get the lost only to find all of my progress loat

It’s the game but with caveats…
Wasn’t optimized for iPhone 13 mini so it doesn’t fill the screen, DEFINITELY isn’t optimized for mac because in full screen it runs at a small resolution. I couldn’t find anywhere on the App Store page where it says you have to buy the rest of the dlc. The game lost my data. I had to unlock eve again and i knew I had done it before because I still have the Game Center achievement for it. I lost multiple days of gameplay, at least I didn’t lose the entire save I guess
