chart calculations are completely inaccurate
i’ve been studying my chart for 10 years now and i would always use Astrotheme to do my chart. that is the most accurate calculator i have found to date. this app, is so incredibly off. i have a 5 planet stellium clustered in my 2nd house and the calculator put 2 planets in my 2nd and 3 planets in my 3rd. and i thought cafe astrology was inaccurate for only putting my pluto in my 3rd at 0 degrees. nothing but a pop pseudoscience app, even costar looks empirically immaculate compared to this.
Where’s the community?
I periodically click on this app hoping that they’ve brought the community aspect back with shared experiences. That was the best part. Now it feels like I’m just opening the app for vague insights and paywalls. Please go back to the original format.
New format
I hate this new format and wish I was given the option to whether I wanted it changed or not.
Became silly
Wow what a torrent of terrible reviews, NOBODY likes the updates at all. Like many other reviewers I loved this app before. It’s now cheesy with unnecessary fluff. I don’t need this app for sound meditations, celebrity info, sunset images or even to teach me astrology. It was cool before, now it’s embarrassing. It wasn’t broke and didn’t need fixing. I used to recommend it all the time now I do the opposite. The developers don’t listen to their users though, they just keep heading straight on into more ridiculousness.

Not impressed with new update
The developers updated the UI today and it's terrible. Please revert. Nothing was wrong with it before. Now the Go Deeper tab is chaotic, messy, aesthetically unappealing, and confusing to navigate. Keep it clean and organized like it was before-not everything needs a refresh.

Try Time Nomad instead. I prefer to leave less than one star but I wanted to just let you know as an astrology expert. This platform has become particularly trash since the AI edition.
I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed
I’ve been a user of The Pattern since around 2017. 9 years. Over that time, the folks behind this app have really sucked the heart and soul out of it. Probably not intentionally, but the reviews here are waving red flags in their faces and they are choosing to ignore them. The app used to be simple and so accurate that it would make your jaw drop. I would spend so much time on it, exploring relationships, going back and forth in time, and reading and rereading the pattern and timing of myself and others. Now here we are! I’ve turned off notifs and I hardly open the app because I know that if I do want to read into something further, it’s probably paywalled now. So for all the subscription money they are getting, they use it to completely disfigure the app. How about this - cut the price way down, get rid of the AI bs, people clearly don’t like it, get rid of audios, cut out all the extra bloat and go back to what it was. Invest in experienced astrologers to add more to people’s pattern and timing info. And that’s it.
Not for me anymore
I used to love the pattern! Don’t love the podcast style update. It’s really flowery and wordy. Also the relationship aspect of the app feels inaccurate to me. In my most controlling relationships it said we were so compatible. And then in my seemingly most healthy relationship, it marked us as incompatible. I just don’t trust it anymore.
RIP The Pattern
The old interface was the star of this app, now it sucks. Don’t install, that’s all there is to it.
Used to be Good, TERRIBLE now
This app used to be the best astrology app. They’ve redesigned, added AI, and completely removed in depth insights that used to be free. It used to dive deep into specific aspects of the chart, now not only does it not do this anymore, but the placements within my chart are no longer correct and they don’t even dive into aspects anymore. This app has gone extremely downhill ever since the first major redesign. Do not download, it’s not useful anymore and the app developers don’t listen to you when you provide this feedback via email and instead come up with excuses that don’t make sense. They just want to charge you $85 a year for LESS information

some of the descriptions of transits/ descriptions of qualities end up scaring me instead helping me. i literally woke up a transit description telling me “this is going to be horrible a time period, you need to surrender as imagined worst case scenarios may appear in your life.”

Chaos and not for my region
Based in the GCC I wanted to look for insightful matches. I have been on here for this week and haven’t received any, many inactive users. Or I’ve gotten way more unappealing in the past week. Also the layout, user profile and app itself feels very chaotic, it is very difficult to find things on this app.
Go back to the original
The app isn’t the same and I don’t know if I’m going to keep my subscription. It was freaky accurate before and now it’s very general and ambiguous. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it. Speaking of being broken, mine is glitching and no one can help me.
I miss the old version of the app
I recently deleted the pattern off of my phone, even though it was a long time favorite of mine. everything is a paid feature now
What happened to the social aspect of the app???
Please go back to the old UI or at the very least bring back the community feel.

I loved the ability to interact with the other users and see how the energy of the transit was playing out in their lives and found it both insightful, reassuring and helpful. I’ve also met some really cool people on this app that I otherwise wouldn’t have met. Please bring it back. I miss my people.

Used to be good, too expensive now
I likes the app way more when it first came out, in-depth insight and tons of accessible features. Now they charge for everything and it’s overpriced. The app isn’t as useful if you’re not paying the $15/month or $83 yearly subscription. Disappointed.
Chart isn’t right
I’ve been using this app for YEARS. At first I loved it, it was spot on and very insightful but within the last couple of months, my chart changed. Instead of my Venus in the 7th house, it switched to the 8th and same with all the other signs. It didn’t make much sense to me and still I have no clue how this happened. I rechecked my birth time, location, and birth date and it was all the same. Not sure what happened here but your houses are probably going to be wrong if you use this app which is a HUGE part of astrology.
