It’s not the Bluetooth having issues connecting to my phone. It’s the app, NOT my Bluetooth headphones. You people suck! FIX THE ISSUES WITH BLUTOOTH!

Terrible App
When I very first got this app everything worked fine, after a few weeks the app would randomly display no connection to wifi even when i have wifi. The app would sometimes work for 30 seconds and then display no connection again. I would have to restart the app 7-8 times for it to finally work and only for a few seconds.

On multiple phones it will turn off WiFi on the phone when trying to connect to the tv

Stop asking me to review while I am using the app
App repeatedly interrupts me asking for a review when I try to use it so it gets One Star. Wait until I exit stupid Roku!

9 out of 10 times I need to use it, it just doesn’t work and I have to close it out and reload it. By the time that takes, the YouTube ad is over… it’s so annoying. It also sometimes pops up notifications for reviews right as I touch the screen which is also annoying. Instead of just letting people leave reviews (which I already had) they spam you. Sometimes I think software developers try to make things as painful as they can be.

Nonfunctional since last update
Ever since the last update, that ironically was supposed to fix bugs and performance issues, the app has become completely nonfunctional due to bugs and performance issues. I can’t even get the remote to work at all 90% of the time.

Wants review before app opens with price
Subscription
I moved and now I cannot get my max subscription restarted. Max keeps telling me to go to Roku and Roku keeps telling me to go to Max and I can’t find a way to restart my subscription. The service used to be very user-friendly and now it’s just pissing me off.
This app is not working properly
This is ridiculous. There should be no reason that I cannot even connect a device. Everything is connected to the Internet on the same Internet. I don’t understand why it’s not working. It’s not picking up any of my devices in my house.
FULL OF ADS
I guess I’m done with Roku in all of its entirety. It used to be my go to streaming stick. Now this app pushes an ad to your phone EVERY time you push a button on the virtual remote.
Switching to Apple TV the way I should’ve years ago. Goodbye ROKU, you were an okay experience until you weren’t. I hope I can encourage more people to avoid this brand in the future.
Also, crunch roll, I’ll never download your app or use your company for anything ever for using ads that interfere with my remote. As a digital advertiser, we won’t be considering you guys at any point.

With the latest update the remote freezes and stops responding
Faulty app
My remote randomly stopped working probably just old. I download this app and I can only scroll for about 20 seconds before it disconnects. If I’m connected to my tv why won’t it stay connected it just loses connection randomly. Extremely annoying that I have to reconnect while I’m in the process of using it. I’d understand if I picked my app and show and locked my phone screen but I am using it and it disconnects.
Was fine now barely works
i can get the remote to stay connected for maybe a minute tops before it tells me it can’t connect without wifi (i’ll be on wifi the whole time) i used to have this issue every now and again but now it’s every time i use this app
good when it works 😭
very convenient and helpful when it works properly but it’s rare that it works properly for more than a couple seconds at a time 😭 sometimes when I open it it’ll tell me over and over that I need to connect to a WiFi connection even though I already am and it’ll do that like 5 or 6 times when I try to use it. Then when it does connect it’ll work for a few seconds but then it just stops, so I’ll have to close the app and restart the cycle again 😭
