I have to uninstall and reinstall this app before it will connect to my TV. Literally every single time. It's so annoying! I'm just going to buy another regular remote.

Always have issues with the connecting the app to use the remote on my phone.

it has a glitch where it says that you are not connected to Wi-Fi and you cannot control any devices even though I’ve checked many times and then I’m connected to Wi-Fi. It has been doing this for over a year now

My review.
Until recently, I’ve thought the Roku tv I have was working well. Now? Not so much. The whole experience, from my point of view, has deteriorated.Try to turn captions off. Can’t do it. If you search for something on the app, such as movies, shows a screensaver with no options. Really disappointed.

I’ve had this app since 2022 and I hate it with a passion. Even if I’m connected to the WiFi the app doesn’t recognize it no matter how many times I restart the app. If I somehow manage to actually connect to the WiFi, I get to press 1 button then the app says I’m suddenly disconnected from the WiFi even though I’m not. When there’s a rare occasion that the app does work (more rare than a midget with a pot of gold) I get to use it for 5 seconds then the app either crashes or disconnects from the WiFi.
