Instead of showing nearby people, the trash algorithm shows people over twice the distance away that you select. If you prefer to drive over an hour away to meet someone, this is the app for you.

I thought this app was cool now but they ban you for no reason at all right after you pay for gold. Do not use this app I am still surprised this app tinder is still on the App Store. I’ve tested this theory I used multiple devices and they still ban me most of the times the bans come from other people who are committing the violation app rules. Just because I say no to them then they report me and tinder always takes the female sides. Hope this app gets shut down soon as all bad things end well. Guys this is a warning from me save your $20. Use hilly instead. Or Taimi. They’re pretty decent nowadays. Boycot tinder as much as possible give them 0 reviews for scamming and report the app for non negotiable refunds. Even it’s been 6 months I still haven’t got unbanned seriously the CEO’s on this app should fix the fraudulent system. Thanks.

When I broke up with my high school girlfriend when I moved to Colorado, I thought I would give this a try as I was exploring dating as an adult for the first time, just to see what it was like. After months of using simple free tinder, I only had a few conversations and nobody was serious. I figured “hey I’ll try the paid version” and that didn’t have much more luck. After a couple more months paying for it, I got a date, and dated her until she cheated on me. I redownloaded the app and got back into it, and after many more frustrating months and conversations with scammers or people from Asia, I’ve resorted to swiping right on 2’s (my female friends have said I’m between a 6 and 8). Any conversation I’ve had has been meaningless and short. Maybe it’s just a Colorado thing with the effed up culture here from Denver, but I have a feeling that Tinder for men is just 2000x worse for our mental health than just staying on Xbox live with the homies all the time. It’s also just as hard or worse to find women in public at my age, 19, because so many times when men hit on women are they labeled as perverts and weirdos. Maybe it’s a woman thing. One thing I do know though is that it’s not just me, other men experience the exact same thing.

The app is pretty much a ghost town as u will see the same people over and over. Also should you be looking for something serious on here dnt bother, 99% of people on there are just looking for sex even when they state otherwise.

I got a lot of matches waited a few days after I matched with them and nobody would talk back to me. So this app isn’t useful at all.
Change “Likes” back
I don’t want categories of people who like me: Shared Dating Goals, Verified, Similar Interests, and Everybody Else. I’m not interested in the breakdown. Give me a comprehensive list of everybody in order of most recent. I’m not interested in having to try to figure out who’s new on the list.

If you don’t pay you swipe until you run out of likes and it will till you have 14 people but someone you never match with those people who “liked you” scam I will be deleting

Illegally Prevents Purchases from being restored
Tinders new subscriptions page which bypasses Apple App Store subscription, now illegally prevents purchases from being restored. If you purchase a subscription for 6 months, delete your account after 1 month and then recreate an account it does not let you restore subscription. I’ll be submitting formal complaint with Apple for the illegal and deceptive practice.

There are a lot of great people on here, but the app has become buggy to the point of being nearly unusable.
Menus are poorly organized, pages randomly refresh or vanish in the middle of doing something, half of the features stopped working since I made my account.
I can’t keep using it unless some real effort it put in to get things running smoothly.

Face Match Scam
My search results are full of fake profile who pass face match verification by using all real photos and one fake one. I won’t use Tinder until this is fixed. This is such an obvious flaw it’s ridiculous that the Tinder Product Team thought this would pass muster. Avoid Tinder.
Look for alternatives that don’t force you to pay for basic features
I decided to pay for the 'First Impressions' feature to send a message to someone before we matched. The app makes it seem like a great way to stand out, but honestly, it feels like a waste of money. You are paying real money just to send a message into the void. If the person decides to swipe left-or if they just don't open the app-your message is gone, and so is your money. There is zero guarantee of a match or even a conversation. It feels misleading to charge for a feature that offers absolutely no return if the other person isn't interested. Save your cash.

Abusive admins hound people unless they pay for premiums. Now that I have stated this and given a negative review they keep deleting my review.

You can’t even swipe on profiles that like you
Tinder hides profiles that like you from your feed, so you’ll be sitting and swiping but get ZERO matches because they are hidden behind the paywall.
I ran out of people to swipe on! but there’s still a dozen or so people that have liked my profile, all within a mile as well, but tinder will not show them to me

My Account was wrongfully flagged by the autospam detector when a scammer tricked me into sending an external link. There seems to be no way to submit an appeal so I've resorted to leaving this 1 star review.
Absolute Garbage
These apps are not about getting the greatest number of people in discussions with permutations of the greatest number of people to make probabilistic or highly likely matches possible for the greatest amount of people over time. No- all these Match Group apps are solelu about keeping you on the hamster-wheel ($$$) of never finding love or never being able to talk with anyone in a consistent or reliable way across pay walls and what I suspect are highly tuned, specific, managed and well planned algorithmic throttlings. I think humanity will eventually look upon social media and dating apps in particular as less helpful tools and more as an absolute scourge.

Why did they categories the likes people sent you? I think it’s horrendous. Everyone I get a new like, go see to check it out I can find it and have to sift through each category to find it?! On top of that, Tinder is overrated.. it needs a revamp

I just got a notification on my phone that said “not sold on plus?can you really put a price on unlimited likes?” Yes yes I can and it isn’t 30 dollars a month way to overpriced and I’ve never actually gotten anywhere with the app even when I was paying for the premium I got all these matches when I was a free account and can’t see them but when I bought the premium I got nothing and when I did the conversation never went past hello

With the rise of AI, users definitely need to be wary of scams. I would estimate about 1/2 of matches are easy-to-spot frauds. Elegant and exotic pictures abound. So many of these pictures are “borrowed” from online photo archives, like Pinterest. I’ve only been on the site for a few weeks and have already noticed recycled pictures and names of beautiful young women. They match and then try to move you off the App to WhatsApp or Telegraph. Crypto or gold scams seem to be the preferred objective. As good as these fraudsters are at loading false and misleading profiles, Tinder has to get better at screening these obvious fakes. While they act promptly when users flag fake profiles, I’d think Tinder could improve their site surveillance to clear all the scammy noise.
