I didn’t even get to get my medicine pill because you guys charge me for something that I did not authorize. I did not say to get or anything. I never ever authorize to put this on my phone and so I wanted to let you know how bad of service that you really are and if you’re taking advantage of the senior citizens, you have a great day. Connie Peirsol and I better not see any more charges from you guys on my phone or asking me to pay anymore because you’re not getting a sent from me. I hope you have a terrible day.

There are apparently no humans involved at TotalAV. Forget correcting a problem. You will get stuck with the check no matter what.
It used to work
I have been subscribing to this for years and it used to work great. I subscribed to it through Apple. For the last several months I was paying the monthly fee and when I would open the app, for months now, it would tell me purchase was not successful. My card was successfully charged each month, and when I would log in through a browser it would say I had a paid account. I contacted support numerous times and never got any response. So today I finally gave up and cancelled and uninstalled. There are a lot of VPNs out there that work, unlike this.

I installed this on 4/17/26 tried to cancel the 30 trial on 5/7/26 but all I was able to do was remove the automatic renewal.

still unable to complete device protection
Was billed 2X, paid, still unable to get any help getting my iPhones protected. Trying for last 2 months to get help.

Not working and no customer service
I purchased this in the hopes to clear off anything malicious on my phone. Except when I sign in to get to a dashboard all I get is the option to buy more stuff. I have tried to contact someone in customer service but all there is with frequently asked questions. I have requested a refund if I get it, I’ll change the. Reflect that.

Cancellation hell!
Make absolutely certain that this app does exactly what you want, because cancellation has been an absolute nightmare. Within minutes of installing it, I discovered that it only provides browsing safety for Safari. I don’t use Safari so I immediately TRIED to cancel my subscription. I’ve been trying for a week with no luck. The instructions provided simply don’t work. The email support is non-existent, with every communication coming from a “no-reply” email. Also, the interface is overly cumbersome and the amount of costly add-ons is staggering. Don’t be suckered by the relatively low initial price. It will cost you well over $100 annually to get what other security apps provide for less. Avoid at all costs!

As part of tototalav I paid for TotalPasswod. Even though I provided proof I paid to renew the subscription they will not activate it
“Money Back Guarantee” is a LIE
AVOID. Within a half hour I realized I didn’t really need TotalAV so I contacted them for a total refund, taking them at their word that they would provide a “Money Back Guarantee”. Emails went back and forth, with no option to cancel my purchase and subscription. There is no direct “Customer Support”, and no way to talk with a ‘real person’. Hence, I’m stuck. Their claim of a “Money Back Guarantee” is definitely false because there is no way to contact them to process that request.

I unsubscribed to the service last September and have tried to stop them from charging my account since September 2025 but I am still getting charged for the subscription fee monthly. I’ve been trying to get a refund but have not been able to get a refund or to stop the subscription. I have tried unsuccessfully to unsubscribe and also tried to stop Apple from charging my account since last September but they keep charging my account monthly, and I can’t get a refund for the charges.

Cancel I ordered a $19 one year and you are putting $159 dollars on my card. If this entire order is not cancelled immediately I am going to contact the Kentucky AG, the BBB of greater Cincinnati and anyone else I can figure out to put you out of business.

I bought this and I knew I was in trouble when modules kept downloading and the price kept going up. I tried to use the app and found it big and confusing,so I deleted the app. A year later they took$350 out of my bank account for updates without warning and I can’t stop it because I don’t have the app anymore
Trouble with VPN bad customer service
I installed TotalAV on my Apple devices. While on travel, I realized that my devices which were logged in to unprotected Wi-Fi and the TotalAV AV VPN was not on. I realized the VPN does not automatically connect when my device connects to an unsecured network and also disconnects after a period of time. This is very different from my previous VPN - Express VPN.
On top of this I was unable to get helpful customer support. I participated in multiple chat sessions and emails back and forth. It was frustrating because they could not answer my questions or give clear instructions or advice. I suspect I was not dealing with a human, in spite of the fact that I asked for that multiple times. In addition, speaking to a human on the phone is also not offered. I have never experienced such ineffective customer service. I finally tapped off. A complete waste of time. I am done. I give one star because the rest of the suite seems to work.

Virus clean
I have no idea how to set up check for viruses & clean them out. Please explain how to do this
Don’t get this App
I subscribed to this app a year ago and canceled the subscription through Apple well before the renewal date. However, they ignored my cancellation and I have spent 3 days trying to get my money back. They make you jump through hoops to cancel, then terminate your account. They make getting in easy but extremely and annoyingly difficult to get out of and won’t give you your money back until you do all the things. I cancelled because I didn’t really see the benefit like I do with Clario. Don’t waste your valuable time and money.
Terrible customer support
No love customer support. Terrible product. They advertise their product does multiple thing but don’t tell you that you pay for every individual thing it does. They advertise money back guarantee but that is a joke. All they do is try and convince you to stay by giving you deep discounts. They still have not refunded my money back. Stay far away from this company.

Deleted registration day as I assigned up. Says I must pay registration 5/30/26.

Fake reviews or hand picked. Cant cancel because they just keep hacking my account using different names but coming from same place and when i contacted support, he said they there was another five hundred coming out of my account bragging to me saying i couldn’t stop it. Total scam never worked as stated and after i cancelled it right away they are still trying to take money out of my account. Beware because the keep stealing money from you after you cancel them.

i payed with credit card . they took my payment. i downloaded the app . it said it downloaded the program and it is ready to use. has never worked yet. it says i have no account . this site just wants your money and then good luck . this site sucks spend your money somewhere else

I signed up at a special rate. The money was immediately deducted from my checking account but I couldn’t activate the VPN unless I subscribed for considerably more money. Once I downloaded it and paid for the subscription it states that the app is not installed and not working but when I click on it my App Store it shows it’s downloaded and I click on it looks like it’s working but then I try using the services it states not supported or not downloaded. Almost like a hack and linked forwarded to another device my phone number now stated inactive device number is not active e sim disconnected and number out of service but my phone is working like WOW now I can’t get a refund and y phone is worse then when I got the app for protecting my phone from hackers now im for real hacked
