I have a valid MS account, but I'm blocked from using this app unless I buy another (additional ie 365) MS account which - out of principle - I refuse. The more I use MS it seems the less I like it and am attracted to migrate to Linux
I have a Outlook account and try to set up defender because I have an Outlook account and even though there are free services on Microsoft Defender is not one of them even though there is an article out there that they are boasting about the good qualities about defender. I was going to try to use it more often to see if it was good as the other ones are but that is not something I'm going to be able to do.

This app is a colossal trash. It requires to subscribe to their stupid subscription just to access something as basic as this.
I'm not getting any update
Well it's been nearly a year since I last asked - does it no longer have VPN? i don't see it anywhere. it used to be right at the top you could toggle it on/off when needed. Really disappointing. I finally had a VPN I knew I could trust, but apparently now I don't?
Authentication is broken. Unable to sign in with password, leads to 401 error. Unable to utilize hardware passkey (Yubikey), as it spams the prompts until the application hangs and needs to be killed when the USB C key is inserted. Functionally useless without being signed in. Will update review if this ever gets resolved, otherwise this app is completely pointless to have installed.
I got the MD with my 365 Pilot more than 2 years ago. Never had any problems. Suddenly, since a week ago, I keep getting notices saying my MD is off and my device is not protected. Try as I might, it just will not turn on again. I'm so frustrated. I honestly feel like deleting the damn app. .
why do the settings I have chosen get switched off without warning keeps happening cannot see why? This is still happening, please can you reply. Still happening but no reply?

my IT forces this app and it's VPN even though support for the VPN was removed. cannot use my email without the VPN that was removed and cannot uninstall it from my device
no threats found ever. says it is disabled when you turn off assistable.

just can't get past the sign in page - I get a blank screen that never loads. it works perfectly on my laptop though ... very strange.
persistent issues with the application being disabled by minor OS updates and other common processes.
not sure if it works at all. just clicked out of curiosity on "manage my data", went trough 2way authentication process to end up with a white page without anywhere to click. After trying 5 more times without any better result I'm thinking I should uninstall and move to another solution. smh
It used to be east to turn it on. Now you have to go to Android Device. You were able to turn it on in the app. This is too many steps!! This is the programmer justifying their job. These things are supposed to be easy. Instead, every time there is an update, there are more steps for me to do. I didn't get this app for me to have to continuously update everything, I got it to protect my phone. If it gets any more difficult, I'll just delete it

why this app is not running in android phone ??? blocked my account again n again whenever I tried to make account in Android phone why please resolve my issue
keeps turning off
ineffective app. It does not detect malware or create logs of scanned apps. I'll be deleting it
